I agree with you. I endeavour to get people to read the Authorised Version. I figure if they read it,.they will feel its power. The first time I started reading the Authorised Version, I felt like I was picking up a real sword after using a toy.

Couldn't have said it better myself. That's the *_exact_* feeling. First "bible" I used was a New King James Version, then after that mess I started reading from a 1611 KJV, and I felt the exact same way you described.

Hey man! I just found your channel and have been watching a bunch of your videos. First, thanks a bunch for all your content! I have a question for you. As a new Christian, I started with the KJV and after watching videos talking about how some words (not the thee, ye's etc. those are awesome and easy to understand) mean something different today than they did when the KJV was written, and you don't even know it. Things like cattle, or Conversation. Again, I'm not trying to fight, I'm just asking you how you might recommend I learn all of these so I can properly read the KJV, because something keeps pulling me back to it, and I don't want to be mislead. Thanks again brother, I hope you're well!

    • @BryanDenlingerKJVM

It is a philosophical argument used by the enemies of the King James Bible to destroy a new believers faith in the written word of God. The answer is very simple.
The New Testament is about events which happened 2,000 years ago. Have things changed from now till then? Of course. Are there things a new Christian has to learn about how people lived differently in the past? Yes. Why then would it be unreasonable to learn how some words have "changed meaning" in the last 400 years?
The other scam of the "archaic words" argument is that those who teach it are trying to get people back to studying ancient Greek and Hebrew! Talk about "archaic" and hard to understand.

    • @jonathanrector
      @jonathanrector หลายเดือนก่อน

@@BryanDenlingerKJVM Thanks for the reply! I appreciate it. I'm still lost though on HOW I find what words I should be reading that actually mean something other than what they mean today. That's the part I'm really stuck on :( Any advice for that? Like something as simple as conversation, it doesn't mean what we mean it to mean today, and it's getting me tripped up.

After God saved me just over a year ago He led me out from the pagan building I was attending and then He led me to your ministry, you have helped edify me in my walk with our Lord Jesus Christ, thank you.. all glory to Jesus Christ God our Father ♥️
Now on the topic of these Antichrist modern translations, they are dead books, and definitely are not of God.
God has given warning after warning in his perfect written word (KJV) about changing his word. What arrogance a person or persons must have to change the very word of the living God, claim it to be their work, then have the audacity to gain financially from their own version of God's word. The more I get into this the more I wonder about the salvation of the person who is so against the KJV and their belief, in only one true, perfect word. In no way am I saying that a person who does not agree with me that they are not saved, I am just stating that if they have no faith in the true perfect infallible word of God that was translated in English (King James version), how can they have a true faith in salvation?

6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
    Proverbs 30:5-6
13 Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.

Hi Bryan, I'm sure you've covered this before, but I was wondering if you could make a video comparing Acts 2, to Acts 13-14, and maybe Mid Acts Dispensationalism, and is it biblical? Since I know that Acts is a transitional book but when we rightly divide say Peter and John's Epistles are they for us in the way that Paul's Epistles are, or are they more so instruction in righteousness and sanctification. I see the difference in James vs Paul, but I can also see how James applies to us in that our faith will be shown by our works, and that a dead faith will definitely not produce fruit. And if we examine faith and works in the way that Abraham's story does. James 2:21-23 and Galatians 3:5-7 and Romans 4:1-5 talk about the same account with Abraham, but that for different time periods and different books it can be viewed differently because now we are saved by grace through faith, but during the TOJT there will be works involved.
    James 2:21-23
    Authorized (King James) Version
"Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? 22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? 23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God." KJV.
    Galatians 3:5-7
    Authorized (King James) Version
"He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? 6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. 7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham." KJV.
    Romans 4:1-5
    Authorized (King James) Version
"What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found? 2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God. 3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. 4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. 5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." KJV.

Bryan often uses Romans 16:7 to try to disprove the Mid-Acts position but 1 Cor. 15:22-3 cf. Matt. 27:52; Rev. 20:4; Dan. 12:2 demonstrates that it is a mistake to assume that "in Christ" is exclusively referring to the body of Christ. Just like "in the Lord" (Rom. 16:7-8) is used of saints in the Time of Jacob's Trouble (Rev. 14:13), All saints of all dispensations are going to be in Christ (or else they wouldn't be resurrected --1 Cor. 15:22) and all saints of all dispensations are "in the Lord" but not all saints are in the body of Christ, the one new man (Eph. 2:15) that God is forming "by the gospel" (Eph. 3:6) revealed to Paul (1 Tim. 1:11; Gal. 1:12; etc.). Dr. Ruckman even himself made the distinction (not realizing that he contradicted himself in other places of his writing):
Commenting on 1 John 3:6-9: "Verse 7 is clearly the Tribulation saint actively staying "in Christ“ until the end of the Tribulation (Matt. 24:13; Heb. 3:6, 14); it is the Holy Spirit sealing the Christian into the Body of Christ (Eph. 4:30; 1:13-14) " (, pg. 1636)
Notice Dr. Ruckman here admits there are Tribulation saints "in Christ" (which is true John 15; 1 John 2:28; Jude 1; Rev. 14:13) yet they are not in the body of Christ. The Mid-Acts position solves loads of Bible problems and bring such clarity to Bible study and you can keep water baptism for the exact same reasons Bryan does and Dr. Ruckman does.
Ruckman continues in another place: "In the Tribulation, there is a new birth that occurs in the believer when he trusts in Christ. He is even placed in an organic body that is said to be “in the Lord” (Rev. 14:13; John 15:1-14). But watch out! That body is not the Body of Christ in which the New Testament believer is placed by the Holy Spirit at salvation (1 Cor. 12:13). The organic body of believers in Christ in the Tribulation is called “the true vine” (John 15:1). The Tribulation saint is not “a member in the body” (1 Cor. 12); he is “a branch on the vine” (John 15).” (Peter S. Ruckman, General Epistles Vol. 1 (James, 1-2 Peter), pg 186)
Notice again he says there is an "organic body of believers in Christ in the Tribulation". This is true (1 Pet. 5:14).
For the record, you will be told that our Bible is only Romans-Philemon, which is totally untrue. There is doctrine in all the Bible for the body of Christ, the Mid-Acts position though simply does what Dr. Ruckman said and that's to follow "the Pauline rule which decrees that as long as any verse in the Scriptures-any verse in any book in either Testament-does not CONTRADICT a verse in a Pauline epistle; it can have an application” (Peter S. Ruckman, The Book of Hebrews (Pensacola: BB Bookstore, 1986, 1998) 363.)
My personal favorite books of the Bible are outside of Paul's epistles and I hold to the Lord's supper and water baptism for this current dispensation.
He recently made a video saying that born again is for today, in light of Gal. 4:29, as one who holds to water baptism and the Mid-Acts view and the Authorized Version I have no problem saying I'm born again as I am regenerated by the Spirit (Tit. 3:5). There are many teachers of the Mid-Acts position that you can learn from online that hold to the AV as perfect.

      Tell me sumptin please...
If Gods WORD is perfact. Why wouldn't Rome NOT adopted it into their language? As written as spoken, instead they changed the perfect WORD of God to their language.
Their are some 1200 translations erros in KJV alone, some bibles have more,
Why would you not seek to find Truth instead of weak Faith (lazy ness, following labled religions) doing the work for you. ..?

      Psalms 12
6 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
7 Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
8 The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.
If God preserved his word you can't have the word of God being lost and reemerging with a separate devine inspiration event in 1611. You might argue the KJV is the best English version but not that it's a product of a separate devine inspiration event.
For the King James to be perfect it would have to be the latest in a line of perfect bibles stretching back to the originals so as to not be a separate devine inspiration event. But the KJV is translated from the textus receptus created by Beza
Beza admitted to changing revelation 16 5 from "One who is and who was, O Holy One"
To "which art, and wast, and shalt be" Beza did not faithfully tell us what his Bible said. He changed it based on what he thought it originally said.
The King James is not the last in a line of perfect bibles. If the KJV was the perfect inspired word of God it would mean the pure scriptures were inspired, lost and reinspired which according to Psalm 12 cannot happen.
And stop placing faith and facts as if they're in conflict. That's like admitting your faith is based on lies.

Another good way of putting it is, is the New Testament better then the Old Testament? There are things that the New Testament has that the Old Testament has not. Also interesting how as the Pharisees and scribes looked to something that was older (which was not better, let’s be frank) when something newer and better was available.

    On debate,
    (underscores placed for emphasis);
    1st negative:
    Rom 1:28-29 (KJB)
    28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, _debate_, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
    Isa 58:3-4 (KJB)
3 Wherefore have we fasted, say they, and thou seest not? wherefore have we afflicted our soul, and thou takest no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast ye find pleasure, and exact all your labours.
4 Behold, ye fast for strife and _debate_, and to smite with the fist of wickedness: ye shall not fast as ye do this day, to make your voice to be heard on high.
    2 Cor 12:19-21 (KJB)
19 Again, think ye that we excuse ourselves unto you? we speak before God in Christ: but we do all things, dearly beloved, for your edifying.
20 For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be _debates_, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults:
21 And lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and that I shall bewail many which have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed.
    Then positive:
    Prov 25:8-12
8 Go not forth hastily to strive, lest thou know not what to do in the end thereof, when thy neighbour hath put thee to shame.
9 _Debate_ thy cause with thy neighbour himself; and discover not a secret to another:
10 Lest he that heareth it put thee to shame, and thine infamy turn not away.
11 A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.
12 As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover upon an obedient ear.
    Isa 26:20-21 (KJB)
20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
21 For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.
    ---
    Isa 27:6-9 (KJB)
6 He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.
7 Hath he smitten him, as he smote those that smote him? or is he slain according to the slaughter of them that are slain by him?
8 In measure, when it shooteth forth, thou wilt _debate_ with it: he stayeth his rough wind in the day of the east wind.
9 By this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this is all the fruit to take away his sin; when he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, the groves and images shall not stand up.
[Placed this verse here anyways, yet unsure of the context, since the word debate is in here.
So if the Holy Ghost showed someone else, please share.]
    ---
    Therefore depending on the situation...
    Prov 26:4-5 (KJB)
4 Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him.
    Or...
5 Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.
    An example of negative...
    Jud 1:9 (KJB)
9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
A long example of positive (though it could be either(not), depending if you're for the Lord or not)...
    1 Kin 18:17-39 (KJB)
17And it came to pass, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said unto him, Art thou he that troubleth Israel?
18 And he answered, I have not troubled Israel; but thou, and thy father's house, in that ye have forsaken the commandments of the LORD, and thou hast followed Baalim.
19 Now therefore send, and gather to me all Israel unto mount Carmel, and the prophets of Baal four hundred and fifty, and the prophets of the groves four hundred, which eat at Jezebel's table.
20 So Ahab sent unto all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together unto mount Carmel.
21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.
22 Then said Elijah unto the people, I, even I only, remain a prophet of the LORD; but Baal's prophets are four hundred and fifty men.
23 Let them therefore give us two bullocks; and let them choose one bullock for themselves, and cut it in pieces, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under: and I will dress the other bullock, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under:
24 And call ye on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the LORD: and the God that answereth by fire, let him be God. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken.
25 And Elijah said unto the prophets of Baal, Choose you one bullock for yourselves, and dress it first; for ye are many; and call on the name of your gods, but put no fire under.
26 And they took the bullock which was given them, and they dressed it, and called on the name of Baal from morning even until noon, saying, O Baal, hear us. But there was no voice, nor any that answered. And they leaped upon the altar which was made.
27 And it came to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked them, and said, Cry aloud: for he is a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked.
28 And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with knives and lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them.
29 And it came to pass, when midday was past, and they prophesied until the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that there was neither voice, nor any to answer, nor any that regarded.
30 And Elijah said unto all the people, Come near unto me. And all the people came near unto him. And he repaired the altar of the LORD that was broken down.
31 And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, unto whom the word of the LORD came, saying, Israel shall be thy name:
32 And with the stones he built an altar in the name of the LORD: and he made a trench about the altar, as great as would contain two measures of seed.
33 And he put the wood in order, and cut the bullock in pieces, and laid him on the wood, and said, Fill four barrels with water, and pour it on the burnt sacrifice, and on the wood.
34 And he said, Do it the second time. And they did it the second time. And he said, Do it the third time. And they did it the third time.
35 And the water ran round about the altar; and he filled the trench also with water.
36 And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word.
37 Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the LORD God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again.
38 Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.
39 And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The LORD, he is the God; the LORD, he is the God.
So in conclusion, looks like scripture is saying debate is more negative than it is positive.
    2 Tim 2:14 (KJB)
14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.
    ------------------------------------------
Just had to throw this in here, in studying, came across this verse...
    Dan 10:21 (KJB)
21 But I will shew thee that which is _noted_ in the _scripture_ of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.

America despite all her problems was founded on the KJB which allowed America to be blessed and become the greatest nation in the modern world. Only two options Egyptian text or text that came from where Abraham and Jacob got their wives from. Picking any bible in English other than the King James is proof of wanting to be worldly. Amen everything we believe is accepted on faith ultimately, the more evidence we gather the more persuasively can make a strong case to others. On a foundational level everyone’s final authority/holy cow is self attesting/confirming circular etc. The best proof I’ve found is the impossibility of the contrary no one has a contender, reminds me of Exo 7 For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods… Thank you for all your work on this issue over the years and it would be interesting to see your new research. I would be interested in what you say to Mark Wards claim of KJV words as false friends attempting to move people to the MEV, personally I see the KJV as it’s own dictionary sure we should be careful to not jump to an understanding without seeing how the KJV uses that word throughout and exhausting different possibilities. Lexicon’s have already been exposed as the real false friend but would love to hear your thoughts.

That's like admitting your faith is based on lies

@@AnthonyTuminello you seem to misunderstand my comment or perhaps it was worded poorly, I am not saying what God can or can’t do with fallible men, I myself prefer KJV, but have read the NIV; I was saying that I doubt God is unable to save men who have started their relationship with him with other versions.
I’m aware of seemingly malicious mistranslated verses in newer versions including the NIV. I’m saying that we are saved by Jesus and not the Bible regardless, which is why said to pray, because I know that what is truly important is having a relationship with Jesus (John 14:6). I am however skeptical of the KJV being be perfect (that isn’t saying it is or isn’t).
I have seen God’s work in my own life enough to know that he has taught me more through my trials than through scripture, but that might not be true for others (I learn the hard way lol). Oh lol when I said mankind is fallible I was pointing out that men can misinterperate even a perfect Bible which kind of makes the argument moot for me. The gnostic & kabalist corruptions were never in the canon of scripture. The apocryphal books were put between the old and new testaments & marked plainly, top and bottom APOCRYPHA to distinguish them from scripture, & only there for historical reference aiding in the understanding of Rome's and the Jew's apostasy & unbiblical doctrines of men & devils. Isaiah's 66 verses evidences that, too, for those who aren't wanting wiggle room to be their own authorities, or to either hate or try to become a law-keeping Jew. Or for those who are too lazy to cross-reference words in the self-defining scriptures to figure out what they mean. How anyone can claim to love a contradicting, arbitrary 'god' speaking out of three sides of his mouth, & not see the antichrist spirit in those contradictory things, once God brings it to their attention through faithful edification, exhortation, conscience & the Holy Spirit of God...is beyond me. All I can conclude is 'of the Laodiceans' & prideful rebellion is at the root of it.
