Hi Chris, yes you are absolutely right! The lifetime deal stays a lifetime deal, no doubt about it. The money comes also from lifetime members buying add-ons in the market place. Divi 5.0 will also be a huge change for developers so they can build wayyy more add-ons for Divi. Elegant Themes receives a part of those sales, so it’s a sustainable eco system 👍🏻😀
Great job showing why NULLED themes are so dangerous. The side-by-side comparison really brings the point across nicely I also uploaded a similar video a few months back to raise awareness as to why they should never download nulled Wordpress plugins

I have paid for many "theme packs / layouts" and plugins over the years and 2 of my sites were hacked with spam content and redirects. Can't be sure how someone was able to gain access. I have watched your other videos about site security and they are great! Keep up the good work. Thank you!!!!

Hi Se Anime! Thanks for your question. No that’s a complete different kind of thing. They actually re-sell their own personal licenses to hundreds of people. Although it’s legal, it costs developers thousands of dollars. It doesn’t sit good with me. Also when you have a question about a theme or plugin, they are not the developers so they can’t really help you out.
