I've bled the brakes on a few bikes with the rear brake lever on one side and the brake caliper on the other like this one. The trick I came up with was to kneel on the left side of the bike with the caliper so you can open and close the nipple with your right hand, and with your left hand reach under the bike and pump the lever that way. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy!
Thanks for the information 👍🏻👊🏻
As always, very educational and humorous. Thanks for the (affiliate) tool links and maybe I'll find the vacuum pump there too.
Bedankt Old Mechanic! I bought a new rear master brake cylinder assuming it was the problem. I saw your video and decided to try it before putting on the new cylinder and sure enough it was the same problem! Greetings from Raleigh, NC USA. Where in the Nederlands are you?
hey old mechanic. I think the high point of the rear break is necessary if you go off-road. It's easier to break if it's higher.
I know this may sound silly but I now know how to use the vacuum pump. I never bought one because I was not sure if it’s better then the regular way of flushing the brake and clutch fluids. Man this was a great video on how you found that brake problem. As always a great job. Thank you Sir. Tons of information.
As always be safe Old Mechanic.

Hi Randy, normaly you don't need the pump, as you said 👍🏻 only when you think of air beeing trapped somewhere in the system and you need to suck that out 😉

Got it. Thank you.

The Morocco trip may have boiled the brake fluid with use and a loaded up bike? The location of that rear master cylinder and the reg/rec is right next to the direct heat of the engine too. Strange location for both items. 🤔
Sir I have problem of my bmw s1000rr

🤔Drive chain looks like it needs a desperate clean. Links are all stiff.
