I love your videos and your commentary, Tall. I'm not a Harley rider, but you're right, the scenery you can see from a motorcycle cannot be experienced any other way. That's why I can't bring myself to stop riding as I approach 83 years of age. ☺ I sure would like to see that area in person. I've been to Sedona Az. which is another spiritual place. If I was out there, I cant imagine how fun it would be not only to ride, but hike, like walk around and explore that entire areas, mind blowing.
One of your better videos. Although, any video with a Buccees in it, is a great academy award winning video. I rode both bikes, back to back, some years ago and went with the Streetglide. I liked the set up better, I could hear the speakers with more clarity and there was less wind with the Streetglide....
Hey Tall, thank you for posting this ride. I tried to go there on a 2022 Corvette that I rented in Vegas last January and it snowed while I was on the long rode in. I had to wait until I got by the booth you pay at to turn around and head back. The snow got deeper and deeper and the Vette was so low, I was plowing the road for a while.
Anyhow back to bikes. I just traded my 2019 SGS in for a 2024 SG in Whiskey Fire w/Black trim. I am having $12,000.00 in upgrades added before I pick it up.
I’m jonesing to ride it, but it snowed here in Jersey this week, so I won’t be riding it for a few weeks.
When the build is finished, I’m having it PPF’d and ceramic coated.
My 2019 was very sharp, this will be a piece of art.
FYI to your point, my last 3 Harley’s were Vivid Black and I just couldn’t do another Black.
Upgrades, Adversary Hand and Foot controls package, 10” smoke windshield, Fusion 13.72” bars, Heavy Duty Air Cleaner, Rinehart DBX 4.5 slip ons, Fugitive Wheels (Black), Tall Boy seat (I’m 6’4”), Stage 2 Fairing speakers, Stage 3 Saddlebag Speakers and a few other tweaks. I want Ohlin rear shocks with reservoirs, but they aren’t available yet.
Love the video. Makes me want to get out and ride my bike every second I can. Unfortunately we have a long winter here in Buffalo NY and of course I have to work lol. I bought the new 24 streetglide with the 117, and I have taken it on 2 touring trips so far, totally stock except for the extended windshield in smoke. The bike is fantastic and will take me anywhere I need to go just as it is. Planning to take it on a cross country trip next year hopefully with some basic upgrades like a luggage Rack, a back rest and maybe an upgrade on the the sound system. I don't keep them long enough to upgrade the suspension or engine etc. I usually like to buy a new one every few years but who knows we will wait and see what happens.

I Love The Street Glide! Like You were saying about ride modes, that's why I don't care for ride modes,they are a useless feature to pay for. Because I would ride 100% of the time in Sport Mode. I want ALL the Power ALL the time just like You Tall 😃😃😃😎
Tall, looks like you enjoyed riding in my backyard brother. That place in Lake Las Vegas you stayed at is about 3 miles from my house. I commute from there to the south end of the strip for work 5 days a week mostly on the Harley. Lived here 34 years. I ride past Henderson Harley Davidson, the famous Welcome To Fabulous Las Vegas sign and Las Vegas Harley Davidson up to the well know Las Vegas resort I cannot name at which I work, seeing the sights 10 times a week. I still can't believe that Street Glide is lighter than a Road King, that is amazing. I'm going to demo one soon and maybe if I get lucky one day, I'll get to ride with you, Robert, Matt and all the cool guys I watch on youtube, I really got to do Roberts class I learned a lot of good stuff from him and I got to go back through your videos to figure out how to pack for a long trip. Keep glide'n.

Glad you enjoyed my city... I am loving that Street Glide and gray color. Street Glide weakness has been the front storage, I am so tempted to trade my 21 Street Glide in for that bike and that color. You making me think harder.... liquid cooled heads, storage, better shocks and sport mode....

After my last trips out west in 2021 & 2022 (2017 Road King) I thought I wouldn’t get the urge to go again. Your video reminded me what I felt when riding out west especially in AZ & NV. I guess I’ll be headed west this season. By the way the review of the bike was good too. 😁 Thank you!

I live in Las Vegas and have only been to The Valley of Fire in my Jeep, after watching this video I going to have to make a trip there on my 2022 Heritage. Yes the area is beautiful however I’m just so used to seeing rocks and don’t always appreciate the beauty of them.
2nd comment: I REALLY LIKE the 2024 Street Glide. I like the Road Glide too, but I’m more of a Street Glide person I guess and I do believe the upgrades this year are even better than the upgrades to the Road Glide IMO.
I have a 2019, and I upgraded some stuff on my bike but never did anything to my shocks. The bike is very comfortable
I just purchased one yesterday
I’m really considering trading my ‘21 Goldwing in on an HD. Main reason, because of the community here in Kenai. The HD dealers really focus on events, gatherings and group rides. The CVO Streetglide seems to be the only model that comes close to the comfort in stance for me, I can add the tour pack, but I feel as though the wind is gonna leave me disappointed once on a long ride. The RoadGlide offers more protection, just not a fan of the stance. Ugg…love everything about the 24 CVO Streetglide…except tbh…stepping up in bike…no comparison of machine between it and the goldwing…stepping down in what the Goldwing does so well🤷♂️
I love the look of the Street Glide, own a Sport Glide which is also a beautiful bike.

Excellent video, good commentary. As you might remember, I'm an Indian owner but that Road Glide CVO ST is the first H-D I've ever seen that might (key word there is might) make me want to put my hard earned $$$ down on one ....

Nice review. I'm still surprised they pushed the ST lineup in 2022 and 2023, then put the 117 in the 2024 for $4k less and dropped the special / Standard. Strange move, but it sure looks like it will be a great platform going forward.

Great video. I love how you all act like you have these small TH-cam channels in the beginning lol. That’s the who’s who of Harley content creators. I would highly recommend a trip through Colorado if you hit Vegas bruh. We have some simply amazing riding here. You could hit Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park or all the scenic roads we have here, it’s a classic tourist location. I also highly recommend Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone back to back. That was a recent family trip for us and literally everyone loved it. We stayed at a dude ranch and the whole deal lol. All of those can easily be combined with a Vegas trip. Thank you for the quality content. Be safe my man. 👍🏾

2024 Road Glide
Noticed dash is all electronic, no analog gauges.
OK, as you know mostly all electronics fail sooner or later for various reasons. Now the problem is when that screen goes out on this bike your speed, fuel, etc., is lost, if it will still run.
Secondly, how many thousand of dollars will you have to spend to replace it ? They made that dash as important as the engine !
If and when you find the answer, make a video about it.

That sharkskin is awesome... but.. im not a HD guy... they have turned into bikes that are factory custom... but i like personal customization. As far as the dash- its going to be interesting to see how many issues arise.... good looking bike though.

I can’t get a motorcycle currently. I’m not in love with the big infotainment system and no analogue gauges. Technology is real buggy with the first iteration and it’ll be interesting to see how long this lasts until they go back to smaller screen.

My honest to God Only gripe with the street glide upgrades is them not upgrading to a higher stock handlebar to at least 10-12s”
2019 HD Ultra Limited owner, purchased new. I ride 18K + miles every year. Transmission oil transfer to the primary problem from day one. Engine oil sumping from day one. Low compression in front cylinder. It’s currently on the third go around to fix the oil transfer problem. It’s been sitting at the dealership for three months waiting on HD to decide how to fix their problem. and this is after working directly with the factory representative prior to dropping it off to be fixed.
For $31K+ ? And a motor company that tries to ignore their defects. Nobody should by this brand!

The holes in the red rocks are from the little-known Diamond Billed Rock Pecker. A very rare species!
The problem is they’re long on inventory, used, and up to 2023 models. My 2019 SG traded for a 2024 SG standard? We’ll see? I love the new models but, not sure just how much?
question....I have watched numerous videos including yours and no one has mentioned the glare or reflection from the large screen. Went to my dealer and sat on a new bike outside and the glare from the sun was insane. I never get that on my limited. How did you find selection when you rode the bike? Look forward to your comments.
I like the 2023 Street glide special a bit more. It is more because of the powerband. A better appearance as well. The new dash is destined to fail with all the digital technology in the cluster.
The saddlebags and fairing look tacky as do the led accents. No more stretched bags.....the list goes on.

I was wondering if anybody is able to confirm any of this. I was at the dealership in Phoenix yesterday looking at a 2024 SG and was told RDRS is standard on this model as is ABS breaking and that the rev limiter and mile per hour limiter were on the bike, but Activating both of those was at the buyers discretion. And that you had to pay $350 if you have an android phone (I have a Samsung phone) and want to use GPS ...just wondering if anybody can confirm any of that? Thanks. To me , the whole modes thing is a gimmick. I want full power all the time. So for me sport mode i guess. Overall i like the changes they made. Everyone has been begging for this stuff 😮 both my Harleys have had the twin cooled heads.
You can feel the difference, they work.
