I think it would have been a different game if beast took the mirror over cauldron. Cauldron let you fish so deep and you never had the chance/ ink to use mirror. Seriously great content
Cauldron is so underrated and some people dont even run cauldron in their decks. I could never part with that card. So clutch and it dug me 12 cards deeper this game.

I think you could also won with Elsa top deck at the end. Elsa 2 beast + trade simba with dragon + quest for 2. If he does not have big tinker or can't deal with elsa he's at 19 and you win.
Yea this would work too as long as he doesnt have big tink or hades to grab one or be our guest to fish for one or awnw as his last card in hand. I do feel like that last card in his hand was awnw though. Very happy to take the immediate win with aladdin 😂
I think its a reasonable line. Would probably delay his aggression a bit. Problem is, he could also just not play awnw after seeing that i just threw away a befuddle and inked a friends. But definitely a line worth considering.
Thanks for the kind words! I actually started this channel because I wanted a topic to practice video editing on and editing takes up way more of my time than trying to grind ladder does. This video took around 25 hours of planning/editing/scripting/ over the last 3 days lol. I look forward to making more commentary on the metagame if I feel like I can come up with decent content.

hey zef, im having a really hard timme beating normal steel/amber ariel/surferstitch/bigtink w my ruby amethyst. I havent seen this type of amber steel w a whole new world, but i presume that if i cant beat the other deck this one is going to be hell when I see it. Any advice vs duckies amber/steelsong?
red purple actually is quite favorable against the duckie midrange version. its the whole new world one you have to be worried about. the major points is don't play anything for the first few turns against duckie. This is to protect against you have forgotten me. Also never give them a rapunzel activation with your 2/2s or 3/3 rafiki or you will lose. If you can follow these 2 major rules, u will have a very favorable win % against the duckie midrange. Once you start dropping your ursulas, mickey BLT, elsas, maleficent dragons, that deck will struggle hard to find answers. I did make a video about this matchup that touched on a lot of these points and that video should still be relevant.
@@chuyine10 I usually mulligan under the assumption i don't know what i'm up against. you want to keep most of your 1-3 drops including multiple ones of them. but not pocketwatch. If you keep an uninkable in your hand (like cauldron or mirror), you want to keep more inkables, even stuff like dragon maleficent just to keep you safely inking for the next few turns. Mulliganing is pretty complicated and i'm not even sure I'm doing it right but I think thats the gist of it. My ideal starting hand is probably 2 tibbs, befuddle, cauldron, 2 friends on the other side, gaston or something like that

He actually took the little tinkerbells out as he claimed they felt like they were somewhat underperforming in the meta. The decklist I posted is his most recently updated deck as of like 2 days ago. A lot of the top players are constantly tweaking/adjusting/experimenting with their lists everyday so its hard to find a consistent list. I was a bit shocked to find him not playing little tinkerbells anymore too.

For amber steel wheel deck to survive four be prepared wipes and still have a healthy board and hand.. it seems it’s the best deck right now. Next chapter will change up the meta, but steel ambers use of the lanterns, tinker bells, WholeNW stitch and rapunzel draw power, plus little drops and bodyguards and ariel singers, idk how any deck is really supposed to compete with its dominance. Even this game was a heart of the cards too deck draw after 4 be prepareds. also he’s beast item removals helped. u also call ariel kind of funny. amber steel just runs so smooth, while ruby amethyst requires pulling the removals and abusing aladdin
Amber steel wheel is definitely a powerhouse but every deck has its counters. I've been playing blue/steel ramp whole new world with great success against the lantern wheel deck.
A Whole New World is MUCH worse than wheel because it costs 5 instead of 3. A Whole New World is MUCH better than wheel because it costs 0 instead of 3 :D
