This deck reminds me a lot of mono blue tempo decks in Magic. People asking how it wins don’t really understand how tempo decks work. Go fast make favorable trades and make your opponent make unfavorable trades. I ordered a paper copy of this deck for $150. I was willing to buy a booster box but couldn’t find any so this is way better. I’m excited to finally be able to play on paper. Thank you!!
Iam just glad someone notable is using Eye of fates...or just blue/green in general...now ppl going to act like they knew it was good 😂😂...happens everytime..great list
I love ❤ this deck. Thanks so much. Two cards I've been. Playing with: Scepter of Arrendale in those Develop Your Brain spots. Malificent Strange Visitor in those Hans spots. In theory you lose a lore but there are a lot of Hooks and Erics hunting for Hans. Just some small thoughts but regardless loving this deck. First green deck that feels favored (slightly) to Amethyst Ruby

I built almost this exact deck. Just 6 cards different. I had the 4th of Jasper and Hans and a playset of Mickey Detective. I did not have the 3 Jasmines, the 2 develop your brains, and -1 Eye of the Fates. Do you think Mickeys anti Tempo on turn 3 isn’t worth a 5 drop on turn 4?
It definitely can be! I just don’t see Mickey being good after turn 3 or in situations where you just need an inkable. I think if/when the deck eventually gets ways to draw cards then Mickey will be much much better
I come from a Magic background and I couldnt agree more! I think thats why I like this style of deck so much. Lets hope we get some draw power in set 2!
Just one thing: At 8:08 I don't think you should have quested with Aurora. Cheshire Cat's biggest strength is when you quest with only that card to force a trade against something big. I understand not wanting to over-respect the Aladdin in case the shift was NOT coming, but you don't actually lose any lore by keeping Aurora upright - she's only getting to quest once anyway. One minor things, also, is that at 12:50 I would have inked Jasper and played Duke as to not reveal both our colors, and it is very rare that you want/need two Jasper.
Do you have an opinion on running this deck versus running Ryan Miles Emerald/Amethyst list? I know you said you beat it even though it got the Top Seed, but I ran his Emerald/Amethyst list in two locals and won them both so far so if it ain't broke don't fix it right?, but would like an even more streamlined deck. I like how pretty much anything is inkable other than Kuzco, and in my matches against aggro I never used card draw since they were a lore race. My meta has mostly green/x aggro, I've beaten green/steel and green/ruby and the mirror as well! Thanks for any advice! I'll be sure to sleeve them both up and do more testing as well! I’m not sure exactly which list is Ryan Miles but I will say any green mirror match, Jasper is king. ProPlayGames just posted a video today of my match against Green/Purple that got first seed. I’d recommend watching it! Thanks so much for the support. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Any tips or hints when going second against Amber Emerald Aggro? They Lilo/Simba-ed me and then turn three hit me with Mother knows best and I just couldn’t catch back up
Unfortunately if they go first and curve out perfect most decks can’t stop them. Jasper is big in those matchups and clearing Simba with Phil can also help us
@@Firstto20 totally get that. It’s the only thing I really had problems with. RA Control was really no problem as long as I had a hand and didn’t go too wide.

In the control matchup when your opponent is about to hit 7 ink and you don’t want to commit another character to the board. In other matchups whenever I have a chance but yea sometimes it just ends up being ink.
If we ever did add 6 drops I think my first addition would be genie since he gives us more removal. Gothel isn’t terrible but doesn’t help us much against our bad matchups.

Excellent deck, congrats on your success. I built this in paper after watching your videos and love it. It reminds me of tempo decks in MTG.

Racing amber steel seems hard with the amount of card draw they have though :( I really do like this deck 🙂

I think Jasmine for her double lore but Mickey is great if you’re trying to fight on the board more.
