Well, I’m pleased there are so many like-minded individuals in this virtual world, there seems to be a few of us who are no longer teenagers enjoying the brilliance of twenty one pilots!
the clique really can be kinda cult like sometimes, but many people in there see top as their reason they stayed alive and they mean much to them thanks for trying to understand us, i think we can all understand that we kinda annoyed you at first! I really like that you explained more musical stuff this time and actually talked about it more and got into details u rlly did a better job this time than last time!
I 100% agreed with you saying that we really are like a cult sometimes. And I also believe it's because for a lot of us they really are the reason that we are alive (including Myself) and I hate to hear people bash on them because they have also gone through their ups and downs and they have put so much into the band. I'm 47 years old and brought my daughter to see them in 2015 and again last year. They are an absolutely amazing band, and are now among my favourites live. (after the Foo Fighters on number 1). So it's not just the young kids hehe. But I still really love what you do. I learn a lot.
@@reillyoterry9461 Amazing! My daughter was the 'typical girl' till she was about 13. I was soooo happy when she finally transitioned from One direction (oh, my ears!!!) to more bearable music. She then moved on to listening to music I liked as well as music I had never heard of and could appreciate. She introduced us to Twenty One Pilots when she was 14 years old, and within weeks we were all singing with all of their songs in the car (her younger siblings too). Not long after that I booked us a flight to Brussels to see them in concert for the first time. I was very impressed, I had a happy girl and those are the memories we'll share forever. We saw them again last year, and she and her boyfriend joined me for my 7th and their 1st Foo Fighters concert in August. In June, we'll be seeing TOP again! Can't wait :)
@@reillyoterry9461 Awe thanks! You sound like you're a pretty amazing parent yourself! Yes, can't wait. But we understand if it takes a little while, since they never seem to stop, and Tyler is becoming a father soon, so I'd say he'll want to spend some time at home for that. :)
I really liked this reaction. and I really appreciate that you took the time and reflected on your last video. very good job. btw, Josh (the drummer) also has a "drum battle" he has with himself in some live shows, this would be something you would enjoy checking out ✌
Man, I love the humility in being honest with your viewers. My son, 10, surprise-surprise loves Twenty One Pilots. I just took him to the Twenty One Pilots concert in November. Me, as a huge metal fan, was skeptical to say the least. When I walked out of that arena after the concert, I had a new found respect for these guys. They definitely push the envelope of any preconceived notions I had of them. My son is a huge music fan and has been involved in drum lessons for the last couple of years. I’m a huge metal fan myself, loved your freak on a leash react. First saw Korn when they were opening for Metallica back in the day. I’m always talking to my son about Danny Carey of Tool. Please do a video to Pneuma off their new album, or any song off their new album! Thanks so much for your quality product.
Graham Koonce I’m also a metal fan, and twenty one pilots surprise me with their metal influencers (Tyler’s screaming). Apparently Tyler likes slipknot and Metallica a lot.
A great man admits his mistakes. Well, I'm a middle-aged woman and I love TOP. And I respect the fact that Tyler is married (they are having a baby soon) and Josh is engaged. Great line, when you said that TOP is like Mozart compared to Maroon 5 and Imagine Dragons. Next you should watch: I recommend Lane Boy. Also there's an interesting version is the TOPxMM of Lane boy, it has got two drummers. Josh Dun and I think the other one is Darren King.
Omg when you said Nirvana lol. I'm a huge Pearl Jam fan and i remember the fights we had back then between those "fandoms." Back then it was like you couldn't like both, you HAD to choose. Brought back good memories. Anyway, I love twenty one pilots as much as I love Pearl Jam. They're TOTALLY different but I swear their souls are the same. I love the songwriting depth/lyric meanings/genius melodies of both. For completely separate reasons Eddie and Tyler are my two all time fav front men. Weird because they're so different, I know.

Don’t listen to any of the bad comments you’re getting. I consider myself a big fan of twenty one pilots and I think (as a fellow drummer) you did an amazing job putting both of these vids together.
Twenty One Pilots isn't a bad band whatsoever and its a good place to start learning drums but the fan base is definitely an obstacle to get over if your only desire is to approach TOP from a technical standpoint EDIT: I just realized you downloaded the video instead of just finding the original video on youtube

Twenty One Pilots does that kick on 1 and 3 with snare on 2 and 4 in a LOT of their songs. That being said, one of their songs "Holding Onto You" is based in that sort of idea of a half-time dance groove, but it has a really nice break beat part at the end of the bridge. You've probably gotten a bunch of 15 year old zellets already asking for this song or that song, but it's pretty much one of the only songs that actually showcases his drumming, especially live.

If people dont know how to do that I dont know how they are going to get a job and work real hours with a Karen coming in your shop every two hours screaming you messed her order up.
Surprised you’ve never done a Jimmy Chamberlin. Probably the best Alternative rock drummer ever. But plays multiple styles brilliantly. Anything off of Siamese or Melancholy would showcase his talents. And plenty of HD concert clips to choose from.
*laughed way to much with the thirsty moms comment haha These guys have a very cool approach on music, I'm not 15 but I am fan. Thr drummer I asked for you to react is completely different (completely different styles), hope you can react to it! (I sticked till the end!)
There were so many thirsty moms in that last comment section! "my daughter turned me on to these fine young men, and something about his drumming just touches me" I'm sure it does mom.

Nothing wrong with the format here man. There's a glut of reaction channels now, and yours has more useful feedback as well as a reaction. Because you focus on drums, many of your viewers are likely drummers, or hopeful drummers (like me) and we want more than simply a reaction. Surprised you’ve never done a Jimmy Chamberlin. Probably the best Alternative rock drummer ever. But plays multiple styles brilliantly. Anything off of Siamese or Melancholy would showcase his talents. And plenty of HD concert clips to choose from.
Oh I will be. Stay tuned.
Next reaction: Baard Kolstad - Mirage playthrough please :)
(Will stick around till the end on this one)
*laughed way to much with the thirsty moms comment haha
These guys have a very cool approach on music, I'm not 15 but I am fan. Thr drummer I asked for you to react is completely different (completely different styles), hope you can react to it! (I sticked till the end!)
There were so many thirsty moms in that last comment section!
"my daughter turned me on to these fine young men, and something about his drumming just touches me" I'm sure it does mom.
@@JunkdrummerTV Legend! Hahaha
Man you have to do a video reacting to zoltan chaney from slaughter definitely one of the most entertaining drummers to watch play he is nuts
you have to watch the live room series, the drumming is more dope
If you really want something awesome to react to, please, please, please watch Senri Kawaguchi. She was 16 in the specific video, and the title of the video on TH-cam is: “This Nerdy Japanese Girl Is A Better Drummer Than You Will Ever Be” Lol. Please watch it and consider doing a video on it, I guarantee it will blow you away!
Apart from that, love your videos, keep doing what your doing. Keep practicing until it’s easy!
I like you and youre videos.
Your right this clique can be very cult like but you had it in one my dad loves this band and has the same emotions to nirvana to tøp this music affects a lot of people

Creepy is, as creepy does 🤣🤣🤣
LOL yeah we are like a cult
Analyze Matt Helders from Arctic Monkeys on Brianstorm pleaseeeee
Oh I will be.
Could you react to Twenty One Pilots Lane boy? ps. I'm 40+ and TOP guys are 30+. 😅 (Tyler is also a father now). *And the guys are married (not to each other, lol).
Nothing wrong with the format here man. There's a glut of reaction channels now, and yours has more useful feedback as well as a reaction. Because you focus on drums, many of your viewers are likely drummers, or hopeful drummers (like me) and we want more than simply a reaction. There are too many fake looking "jaw on the floor" channels for my liking.
Mine too
ey man, ur a amazing musician, i love twenty one pilots, but dont let all the comments get to you haha, we are kinda a cult and i appolagise for all the people that said negative stuff. love ur vids just keep going :)
I will! And thank you for the kind words.
Thomas Pridgen please as Well
Ok, really bringing Imagine Dragons into this now? but good video!
Please do a reaction of YongHoon Lim - Zildjian Vault Solo
