I was introduced to 21 Pilots by my daughter as I’m learning to play the ukulele and she said this group use a uke in some of their songs. I LOVE these two. My daughter went to a concert in Manchester in the UK. She was blown away! I live in France ... I wish I’d have gone too! These two are so popular. I’m 62 and listen to their music most days. You know what’s refreshing ... there’s no bad language! After watching your video I’ll have a look at the names you mentioned to hear the similarities.
3:02-3:14 Of course, they are playing with the background tracks during the concerts, because the bassist (Tyler Joseph) is multi-talented guy, who can also play the: keyboards, guitars, piano, ukulele, organs, synthesizers. Funny fact: them drummer is also singing some backing vocals on songs like "Guns For Hands", "Tear in My Heart", "The Judge", and most tracks on "Trench".
I can tell you for a fact that Josh Dun is absolutely adored by all Twenty One Pilots fans. He is the inspiration that made me want to learn to play drums lol
Yeah they are playing to lots of tracks. No other musicians side stage or anything. It’s super impressive. I was out filming them in 2016 and josh practiced lots of drum technique with one of the sound techs. It was cool to see him still working to get better at his craft even though he’s a professional touring musician. Much respect. Great guy too!
You’ll be happy to know, drummers may not always be appreciated in a lot of bands, but here in the tøp fandom we absolutely STAN Josh. In fact, that’s why I clicked in this video, because, like I yelled as a clicked on it, I wanted you to “give my boi the love he deserves!!”. I mean he’s the reason I’ve wanted to start learning drums, I legit love him so much ugh.
As someone who has held the drum set up before, there aren’t plants as far as I know, the security just make sure to ask everyone in that area if they’re capable of holding him up. They’ll move some people around if necessary but even the smallest of people will say “hell yeah”
I saw them in concert and hOly shit he’s fucking incredible. Also, twenty one pilots fans care a lot about both of them because they’re some of the most passionate fans in the WORLD. That band has a lot of meaning, and they saved a LOT of people. I’m not really a part of a fandom, but I’ve done some light research, and I like their music.
Youre welcome ! IM GOING TO BE PATIENT DON’T WORRY! YES YOU COULD START WITH JOEY BECAUSE HE IS A LEGEND THAT EVERYBODY KNOW AND HIS SKILLS ARE INCREDIBLE... AFTER YOU COULD DO JAY BECAUSE HE IS SUCH A YOUNG TALENT AND IT IS INCREDIBLE THAT HIS DREAM TO PLAY WIH SLIPKNOT HAS COME TRUE!

The band has a wonderful variety throughout all their works, from the very beginning when they weren't public yet, to the unreleased tracks to the well known albums today. The singer writes lyrics about serious subjects, often through metaphors and usually makes up the instrumentals too. The songs with rapping sections had the lyrics written first for the most meaningful words. Yeah, tracks, they have refused to take in any more members since the band publicly began. They love doing things with the crowd, I don't know how many of their concerts has the crowd carrying on of them or them being in there in some way or another but it would be the majority. Also, Josh gets a lot of attention because there are only two guys, best friends for life.
They experiment with their sounds. I wouldn’t put them under the pop genre. In reality many people have no idea what to put them under. Alternative, rap, hip hop, rock, etc. They do many things. Josh is fairly appreciated in the Clique community. His family was extremely religious and therefore shielded him from many things. He wasn’t allowed to listen to music when he was younger. He would secretly buy music and stash them secretly in his bed to listen to later. Josh knows the trumpet and the drums. He used to play trumpet in school and played the drums at a music store. He’s self taught. Josh looks back every now and then to say how he would play the drums till he found a sound that made sense and felt right to him. He had a plan A, and that was music. Josh had no other plans if music failed him, but it didn’t. Haha, don’t ask how I know this much stuff. I just watch them a lot to know this stuff. Sometimes I wonder if it’s a lil creepy.
I LOVE the enthusiasm of the fans of this band, but let me go ahead and address the many commentors triggered by my student who said the new record is too pop. You're mad at a 13 year old girl's opinion. Thanks for viewing!! Have a great day!

“I know why sNiCkErdOoDlE like this guy so much!”
“Mr dun” looking at Tyler
Yea that killed me😂
we care sooooooo much for the drummer since theres only 2 members we absolutely loveeeeee him soooooo much
We love Josh Dun this guy absolutely is gonna lose it if he watch Morph live.
I can tell you for a fact that Josh Dun is absolutely adored by all Twenty One Pilots fans. He is the inspiration that made me want to learn to play drums lol
"They're a Pop band for sure..."
Me: *EXCUSE ME, THEY'RE THEIR OWN GENRE---*
Yeah they are playing to lots of tracks. No other musicians side stage or anything. It’s super impressive. I was out filming them in 2016 and josh practiced lots of drum technique with one of the sound techs. It was cool to see him still working to get better at his craft even though he’s a professional touring musician. Much respect. Great guy too!
Tbh ride probably wasn't the best to check out in terms of drumming tøp certainly isn't pop but I mean good effort m8 nice video
Stressed out?
You’ll be happy to know, drummers may not always be appreciated in a lot of bands, but here in the tøp fandom we absolutely STAN Josh. In fact, that’s why I clicked in this video, because, like I yelled as a clicked on it, I wanted you to “give my boi the love he deserves!!”. I mean he’s the reason I’ve wanted to start learning drums, I legit love him so much ugh.
I'd love to see you react to Ryan Seaman from iDKHow
As someone who has held the drum set up before, there aren’t plants as far as I know, the security just make sure to ask everyone in that area if they’re capable of holding him up. They’ll move some people around if necessary but even the smallest of people will say “hell yeah”
and if you want to hear a real good example of joshes drumming listen to trees
I love Josh omgggg
They are playing with tracks. It’s just them and the tracks.
everyone loves josh. all of the fans love and appreciate him the same way they do with tyler (the singer).
you should react to tyler joseph, the other guy in the band drumming. also patrick stump and andy hurley from fall out boy
Every twenty one pilots fan loves josh and Tyler equally it’s so amazing
2:11 HAHAHAHHAHAHAJSJAJXAMS
5:08 I do too
I saw them in concert and hOly shit he’s fucking incredible.
Also, twenty one pilots fans care a lot about both of them because they’re some of the most passionate fans in the WORLD. That band has a lot of meaning, and they saved a LOT of people. I’m not really a part of a fandom, but I’ve done some light research, and I like their music.
JAY WEINBERG PLEASE!
IM A BIG SLIPKNOT FAN!
THEIRE IS A LOT OF DRUM CAM OF HIM!
PS:YOURE VIDEO ARE GREAT!
Thank you!! And please be patient with me. I'm gonna get to him but I feel like I have to do Joey first.
1:01 Blurryface isn’t their first album
Also Tyler plays a multitude of instruments. Bass like in the video, he also plays ukulele and piano. And that’s just what I know
Did he say especially Blurryface is very pop or something?...
They do play with backing tracks from they’re music originally i love this band have seen them twice but yes indeed they play with backing tracks love the vid!
Now guys who thinks that he looks Christopher Sabat from Funimstion😜?
Come on. I'm better looking than that guy.

Hey Steve ,seen your Vinnie Paul drum react video and after watching that video I kind of have done a Pantera-10s drum cover(It's from The Great Southern TrendKill ) . I would like you check it out if you have got some time to kill . here's the link :-th-cam.com/video/79fAfWEn0E0/w-d-xo.html. Not spamming you mate
Also, Josh gets a lot of attention because there are only two guys, best friends for life.
if u go see 21 pilots u r there for tyler and josh
Thing is with this band everyone loves josh just as much Tyler so its super cool
They definitely play with tracks and Josh's also the one who triggers them
They experiment with their sounds.
This is your student Nate . Did you react to this for me?
You and a couple others Nathan. Now go practice!

Josh operates the tracks with a laptop...nobody is on the side of the stage or anything. He is just on point all the time.
Riley Breckenridge of Thrice!
Riley is seriously underrated
Ben Shaw Yes Sir!
Thanks for the update on Mario Duplantier video. I will wait patiently.
You're gonna have to tell me how to pronounce his name when I get to him.
Du-Plăn-tier I do believe.
I recommend (if u can find it still) of the drum cam video he did of L'enfant Sauvage. It's the best standstill camera performance I've seen.
Mario is the man!
They're playing with tracks. It's only ever two of them
We love Josh Dunn. He is not just a drummer.
Matt Halpern from periphery!!!
