My equipment:

Tips:
1. Turn of the phone and take off the screen of the frame.
2. Dismount sensor flex from the top of display.
3. Cut the metal frame on the top and take it off from OLED (use cutter, isopropanol or PCC15 spray, and something thin).
4. Heat the phone to 80°C (You can use hair dryer) and then cut the glass using molybdenum wire).
5. Clean the screen (use isopropanol or just take off the glue with Your fingers, and glue new glass to the screen - better use LOCA that don't need UV lamp (link below).
6. Glue new metal frame to the display (use B-7000 or T-7000 glue).
7. Put E-8000 glue on the phone housing and mount the new screen.
You will need hair dryer (or heat plate if You have), Y screwdriver, * screwdriver, metal thin tool (You can find in first link), LOCA glue, LOCA remover, E-8000 or T-7000 or B-7000 glue, molybdenum wire, new glass and new matal-plastic frame. Thats all :)

@@JerryMobilePL The guy that taught me how to solder new charge ports to phones had a thick arabic accent and defaulted to speaking arabic halfway through... I still learned just fine and still use that skill for my repair shop years later. Broken english is better than nothing. Spoken repair videos are always appreciated.

Yes yes finely I found this video. I was looking year by year how to fix iPhone screens with loca glue. Because the bubble and laminator machines are really expensive. And this is the cheapest way. Yeah,
He showed us himself doing it but no instruction on how to do it ourselves 🤷♂️ also some of the tools he used made it seem unviable as a home repair.

Mit was kleben sie das Glas auf den Bildschirm (11:58)? Würde das gerne zuhause machen aber weiß nicht ob man auch nur das Glas auf das Display kleben kann ohne diesen Kleber den sie als x aufgetragen haben. Ich hoffe sie antworten würde mir helfen ☺️

Bomba robotaa.. Bardzo pracochlonna i trzeba byc bardzo ostroznym i precyzyjnym. Mam putanko czy konieczne jest demontowac “bezel frame” przed usunieciem szkla?? Czy mozna go zostawic i poprostu zajac sie usunieciem szkla od razu. Pytanie drugie dlaczego polowa wyswietlacza nie reaguje na dotyk po usunieciu starej szybki ?? :(

Tzw bezel koniecznie musisz usunąć na początku, zastosowany tam klej nie jest typowy, jest on raczej podobny do kropelki itp. Nie pozwoli na usunięcie szkła w pierwszej kolejności.
Często po zdjęciu szyby dotyk nie reaguje tak jak powinien, najlepiej go sprawdzić przytrzymując drugą ręką ekran bez rękawiczek, mimo to nie zawsze działa. Po naklejeniu nowej szyby czułość i działanie wraca do normy 😉
@@JerryMobilePL dzieki wielkie i ozdrawiam . Ja jednak dwa razy usunalem uszkodzone szklo bez problemu bez usuniecia “bezela” na pierwszy rzut oka brak jakich kolwiek uszkodzen, screen dziala popodlaczeniu przesuwa sie na boki ale gorna
Czesc screena niestety nie dziala , ale dolna tak. I. to w dwoch przypadkach podobnie. Mam brak jakichkolwiek idei co do usterki .. wiec bede musial poprostu wieminic na nowy screen :( :(

Dla mnie testem mial byc moj pierwszy zepsuty screen i wyszedl calkiem spoko po sklejeniu .ale niestety z jakiegos powodu polowa tylko dziala :( tyle roboty....echh . ..

Yes, it can be done. But only if the glass is not very hard broken :D Not cutting the screen frame needs to take it off uo, so parts of the glass will break the display.

Guess the newer iPhone screens are made different? When i tried to use loca on iph6 lcds back in the day the glue would always get in the lcd and ruin the display

Do you find trying to repair glass without a laminating machine can be problematic as the resulting surface may not be perfectly flat? At the right angle, under right amount of light, this could be noticable when the phone is turned off?

How much would you charge to fix a phone? Cause I broke mine today. Since useless Verizon keeps giving me fixed phones instead of new ones. This phone already had a chip in the glass. Josh Tai bcaz if you don’t take them might be going to damaged if the sensor damaged also Face ID no more works. Frame should be take out otherwise you can take the glass out also won’t inside the mould
