    Thank you so much for your content! Great videos and information for our first trip to Rome in June, with a day trip to Florence as well. We made a reservation at Osteria Zi'Umberto specifically because of your video, we can't wait!

    Thanks for all of your tips, you’ve helped me plan my upcoming (April 30 arrival) to Rome. I booked one tour per day for the 4 days I’m there, glad to hear that’s what you recommend!

    Or take the Frecciarossa train from Rome to Napoli, expensive but 200 km/hr trains are fun... it was for me anyway :)

    What is the best site to buy skip the line tickets for the colosseum, not a guided tour but just the entry ticket?

    Watch out for pick pocketers in the Subway and the main attractions, we got our wallet stolen and the police was present everywhere, when we asked for help, they could not care less.

      So helpful tips, grateful for both you sharing these Rome tips 🙏🇮🇹 Just one question : I will be visiting Rome (my first) for 5 days, staying near Maggiore church and I wonder should I use the Hop On-Off Bus? Thank you 🙏

    • @TravelAddictsLife
      @TravelAddictsLife  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@elmadi7391 Hello there, In Rome the hop on hop off bus is not the best way to see the city because most of the streets in the city centre are too narrow for the bus. Most of the time they drop passengers off close by the attraction but not right by the attraction.

      @@TravelAddictsLife Thank you so much for your reply. It truly helps, I appreciate it. May I ask which one is safer to choose : the local bus or the subway ? Thank you again from Chicago 🇺🇸

    I went to Italy with my girlfriend last month, we avoid the metro due to our experience of pick pocketer in Paris, then we end up with 20,000 steps in Roma per day😂, and 30,000 steps in Pompeii

    Not necessary to buy in advance for the Capitoline museum is it? both times I have been at the weekend there was not a line, maybe I was lucky?

    • @TravelAddictsLife
      @TravelAddictsLife  ปีที่แล้ว

      You are right, that museum is not one of the most visited for now so you can go without buying the tickets in advance.

    It is absolutely hilarious that you say "Gpysy". In American we're so "woke" that they've branded the name Gypsy as offensive and are even renaming the "Gypsy Moth". I don't mean to be offensive, but the terms fits, right? Anyway, I love you guys. I try to spend at least a week at each city you do a video on and it's nice because I get a day or two of just sitting, sipping, watching. I like to sit at the same restaurant and sip and watch people and my server gets to know me by day 3. I know tipping isn't expected, but they know you well if you tip and it's nice to get that extra special attention/treatment if you're a person that money really isn't an obstacle. Spending more than a week and really relaxing and not rushing from site to site, and fighting lines is the way to do things. I don't think people pay enough attention to your advice on this one. DON'T TRY TO DO EVERYTHING IN A DAY...or TWO...or even THREE! If you have the means, spend a month and spend a considerable amount of time in each location...while avoiding Naples!!!!
    Thanks for the continuous great vids. Hopefully I'll run into you guys one day!

      Why avoid Naples? One of our upcoming cruise stops will be Naples. Is it not a good place?
