It is doable but you would have to leave Nairobi very early in the morning such that you are at the gate at around 8 or 9am. From the gate to the lake, the drive takes about 2 hours. But the road was being repaired when we were there, so it should be faster now. It is possible, but you will be very exhausted.

@@kennethkien5060 yes they have. We almost gave up @ the gate. I guess soon the lake will be accessible even with small cars.

Yes it was. I am told it is now done and very smooth!
