@AVALOVE007 it was fitting for her not to say it though. she knew he would feel bad about their last interaction and that he would think she didn't believe he loved her or that she wouldn't forgive him. so she basically said "i forgive you, don't worry about a thing" in just two words. gotta love grey's writing!!
If Meredith loves Derek just because he is a neurosurgeon then her love for him isn't real true love. You should love a person for who they are not for the career they've chosen.
