So well done. I wish for more. Like those of us that grew up doing without. You tend to appreciate everything you get .food entertainment knowledge. You take it and run away to appreciate and consume it before anyone can take it from you. It's priceless.
Genius. The scene where Watson impersonates hediger while Holmes narrates is sheer GENIUS. Watson reenacts the teacher's actions and then becomes hediger is a cinematic masterpiece.
Holmes seems lost in reverie, not listening to Watson. I am reminded of a scene in "The Naval Treaty" when Holmes goes into his own world for a few minutes talking about flowers. Everyone looks at him strangely in that scene.
The human ego is complex and easily bloated, ones standing in life as far as wealth and birthright is bound to corrupt, the feeling of superiority over another is destined for leveling, death ultimately evens the floor, no one man is better than the other.

I feel that Brett did a more british Holmes than Rathbone, although Basil Rathbone was very good,it all reeked of hollywood. They both had The Look though.

" Lunch!!! Of course my dear fellow, you must be starving... "😂😂😂

Definitely one of the best episodes.
Love the "Grrr!" expression on Watson's face when Holmes repeats what he's just said ...
As a teacher I can really relate to poor Herr Heidegger with hours of grading ahead of him late at night!
LOL...Holmes feels like Watson is stealing his thunder here. The way he says 'lunch!' is hilariously adorable. Poor Holmes.
1.45 or so, the look of all that smoke and lovely banter -- the outburst then that velvet voice: Calm yourself Doctor Huxtable. Wow.
Wow, he's got the whole ensemble in this episode... the deerstalker hat, the pipe with the curved stem and the magnifying glass.
"LUNCH!"
LOL :)
Anomaly at 9:10. The envelope has a QE2 stamp on it.
Looks like a replica Penny Black to me.

That flower scene is taken almost word for word from the story.

Watson's always hungry and Holmes just lives on pipe smoke...

"For observing the obvious." Even worse.

@peri2502 You can visit the caves that the Hellfire club used to meet in (just do a web search for hellfire caves)

Rathbone merely played a part for a steady paycheck. Brett became Holmes !!!
Ahaha, Holmes I know how you feel. You have one brain fart and Watson manages all the thinking you've been trying to do. Good job keeping your cool XD
lol he rides a bike! lol! :P
watson's the brain in this one lol poor holmes
