LeBron's Most UNDERRATED Season! - He Played EVERY Game!

  • Before JR Smith's epic meltdown, LeBron undoubtedly had one of his most historic seasons of his career! He single handedly carried the Cavaliers back to the finals for his 8th straight finals appearance, but this time without Kyrie Irving and a lackluster Kevin Love. LeBron beat the Pacers in 7 games, tore up the Toronto Raptors with amazing shots and a buzzer beater for the ages. LeBron then overcame the odds and destroyed the Celtics in 7 games after they went up 2-0 on their home floor. The King would then continue his dominance in Game 1 of the Finals vs the SUPERTEAM GSW where he scored 51 points… The rest is history, but let's look back at his historic season and cherish LeBron's most EPIC moments for what might be his most underrated season of his long and beautiful career!

This was hands down probably his best offensive season. his skillset was very sharp this year combined with his passing IQ and athleticism.

@Zachary Ravel I think you can definitely make the argument he was better this season notwithstanding his 08-09 stats. After LeBron's back injuries at the end of his Heat days/early Cavs re-run days, the game slowed down for him on the offensive end. He stopped making a lot of the bad plays in big moments that had plagued him throughout a good portion of his career at the time (2011 finals vs Mavs and 2013 finals vs Spurs, in which the Spurs were probably the better team). He understood how to get to his spots more easily, incorporated more post play, and was just much craftier overall on the offensive end. I believe this season, particularly his playoff run, showed how much he developed as far as his scoring prowess.
Box score treats buckets equally--can't always look there after a game. The nuggets lie in the nuances of the sport.

People started to say lebron is the GOAT after 2016, it was great but for me this is what made him the GOAT, In 2016 he had a pretty good team but in 2018 he had to work with so little, and they basically changed the whole team halfway through the season, i have never seen in my life one athlete carry his team by himself so much and leading them so far, in all sports. How he didnt get MVP baffles me

As a Lebron fan, he was a beast this season but I also believed in the "Lebron system" where he was dominantly isolating or handling the ball most of the time. It really slowed down the flow of the offense but that was how they were running their game during that time. I had my doubts when he went to LA, cuz I thought that the "Lebron system" would be the flow of the offense. But he's really proven me wrong, it was great seeing the Lakers play their style of basketball with a really nice system. I don't know if Lebron just needed better teammates, better coaches, or management, heck they have better chemistry compared to the Heat days in 2010-2014 and that team had Pat Riley and Coach Spo! Just really amazed how he still gets better even at year 17. Props to Bron, wishing the NBA would come back soon, so we can finish this great season.
