Born to Egg Hot Fast Chicken Breasts and Perfect Grill Marks

  • Want to learn how to make perfect grill marks? Born to Egg's Rob Beane walks you through a hot and fast chicken breast recipe, while giving away his coveted grill marks technique (no sharpies required).
    What you will need:
    Boneless Chicken Breasts
    All purpose seasoning (He uses Meat Church: The Gospel)
    Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    Egg Set-Up:
    Firebox, Intermediate Ring, Fire Ring, Cast Iron Grate
    Temperature:
    500 Degrees (Get it to 550/600 to heat the grate, then cool it back down)
    Once you flip the chicken, take it down to 400/450
    Cook Time is ~12 minutes
    (depending on the size of your chicken breasts)

    hey Rob, thanks for your videos and instruction... I did get my first egg back in October after watching your vids.. and I thank you for that!!!!
    I hope we see more videos soon and more importantly that you and your family are doing well... once again, thanks for everything.. my egg is used 5 to 6 times a week.

    Mr. Beane, my family and I have been using your recipes and resources with the egg.. I have to say following your steps and procedures have produced some of the best food!!!! My weber kettle has been moved to the shed and will be used when we go camping and our weber smokefire is basically now used when we are in a ultra time crunch when my son has baseball practice.. its been the egg all day everyday since... this is a home run on how to do skinless breasts that don't come out dry!!! Again, thanks for putting these vids up and Friday we will have a go with your pizza recipe... grilling and cocktails, the simplest things in life are the best. Hope you and your family are doing well and everything is going well!!!!

    Mr. Beane thank you for making great content for aficionados like myself. I hope to own an Egg one day. Do you recommend a specific size for the first Egg?

      Thanks my friend! You can't go wrong with a large...it's the most popular size. It all depends on how many you're feeding of course.

    I do recommend the Kamado Joe though if you ever want to upgrade 🤭
