So glad you all made it safely! A small bit of advice - cats easily become nauseous while in carriers, which could have been the cause of the drooling. Covering their carriers with a blanket or jacket in the car or plane can help alleviate this!
Thank you thank you thank you for this video! I just moved from Brazil to the Netherlands and my sister is bringing my cat next month. The process (bureaucratically, time-wise) is very similar for cats on that route and Roman, my cat, is JUST LIKE Primrose - very car-averse, delicate, anxious and suspicious of pills, lol - so these tips have truly been a well-timed blessing. Happy to hear they both did so well and to have you confirm my suspicions regarding the portable litter box! Will have her do the same training you guys did just in case but I'm pretty sure Roman is going to be the no-food-no-poop type of cat too.
awww i’m so happy to see that your cats have adjusted well, i can’t imagine how scary it must’ve been knowing they might not adapt well to the travel and the new environment. kudos to will for being so responsible and reliable for taking care of sm of the prep. i hope u guys enjoy living in england now that the whole family is adjusted!!
first of all, you'll always be my fave TH-cam. second of all, I'm planning on moving to NYC from Barcelona and I am determined to bring my cat, and honestly out of all the things, it's what stresses me the most about this new adventure, so this video popping up rn is just what i needed
I love seeing someone who appreciates and values their animals, I *completely* know this stress. I had to do it with my cat after his owner (dad) passed away, heartbreaking and terrifying. My vet recommended if I was concerned my cat was too warm or dehydrated while travelling, to wet my fingers and wipe his ears/head and also his paws (they get cooler and will lick themselves to get some hydration).
I noticed this and literally messaged you yesterday on IG!!!! this was such a pickle for me and my cat :/ sadly we couldn't take her on trip to the US and back, so I'm really excited to watch this video! Thanks Arden
It’s not the same but I’ve done two cross country moves via car with three of my kitties and the stress is real! Gabapentin works well for 2 out of the 3. Best Westerns are pet friendly all over the US so that’s where we always stay. I would recommend packing a collapsible playpen to let the kitties acclimate to the hotel rooms while you do a “safety sweep”, checking for leftover trash and blocking unsafe hiding spots.
My cats barely make it to the vet with their sanity in tact, I cannot imagine travelling with them for 24 hours. Heck, I can barely make it through 24 hours of travel 😅
As someone moving from California to London with my husband and kitty in December - this video couldn’t have come at a better time lol

Ugh theyre such good parents
I love calling their outside time a "smoke break" 😂😂 I'm stealing that
So happy y’all made it safely to London with the kitties ❤
Hi hi! Long-time lurker! I hope your new (and husband's old) home is all you could hope for

i'm not sure about in Brazil but gabapentin comes in a liquid form in the UK so this might be worth checking with your vet
xx

This made me cry. I’ve been soooo stressed trying to figure it all out and I don’t want to put my babies in any harm. Thank you so much for this video
Also I wish I had a Will ❤ that’s so cute
grew up going through the channel tunnel every year and it's still a novelty so I get it! Glad it went so well :)

enjoying this video 😍 love your commentary with a vlog on the side ❤️
Kitties are the BEST 😻
me: doesn't have a cat also me: watched this entire video with rapt attention

Calcifer is who I wanna be like but I am a Primmy. Anxiety is my middle name.
Yay so exciting
🐀 ❤ The kitties are just so cute!
As someone who has a cat who cannot be pilled and becomes a demon at the vet, I feel you re: Primrose.
🧡🧡
I want to know how much it costs :(
So much f**king money. The pet certificates alone were about 1k which was dizzying. The pet taxi was about 700 pounds 😮💨
@ I better be saving up 😩
Gentle mother 70
Bureaucracy sucks !!!
It's the English Channel, like a TV channel 🙃
