I disagree. They could've just walked in the gate. They aren't bandits despite their appearance and the battle at jorvaskir only resulted in silver hand casualties minus kodlak. All in all it'd be easy to chalk it up to an in house dispute between Kodlak and the silver hand which it technically was. and with everything else on the mans plate a small dust up between career killers now settled, is the least of Balgruf's worries
@@screenname6829They are actually bandits; if you go to any of their hideouts before joining the Companions, that's exactly what they're labeled as, and they'll attack you just the same.
