One day, I asked my friend if she wanted to go to the lake with me and my brother, and she happily agreed. We took off. My brother was happy as he could ever be. About half way down the path to the lake, I started to get this terrible and sick feeling. I wanted to turn around and leave, but I didn't want to ruin my brothers chance to see the lake. He didn't get to see hardly anything, because he was constantly in the hospital. My brother had cancer, but he survived and we were very grateful. I kept walking, not mentioning the feeling. We got to the lake and we started to talk about random things. Movies, games, lots of things. My brother started shaking and grabbed onto my hand. I turned to look at what he saw, but nothing was there. My friend was getting suspicious, getting down to level with him and asking him what he saw. He said nothing, just pointed to a tree that was next to the bridge of the lake. I've seen alot of horror movies, so I knew that only little kids could see strange things. I started to see a small faint person by the tree, and then it came clear that someone had commited suicide in the forest. A bag was beside them, I guess containing their belongings. I am terrified of suicide, and I cannot stand it when I remember this. We booked it out of the woods and into the road. When we got home, we told my dad everything. He told us to just go upstairs and calm down, that maybe our minds were just messing with us. We knew what we saw though, and we couldn't stop talking about it all night. I moved away from that town last year, and my brother passed away along with my mother. She was drinking and driving, and ran into another car on the road. I never talk about this day, but I thought it would make a good story to share.

LOVE this! Scary stories, soothing voice, and somehow sleep-inducing. Do I stay up and enjoy the creepiness or fall asleep to the serene narration? I'm so conflicted! TELL ME HOW TO FEEL!
Saw that the podcast were available on spotify, and I thought to myself; "this is a fking dream come true." I always listen to horror narrators when i'm about to sleep, so i thought i would do that, when i was going on the ferry from Norway to Denmark, so i could sleep the whole trip away. But as you get far out on the water, the data roaming rules becomes international, which means you have to pay like 5 dollars/MB. And I of course, fell asleep... with the data still on, and your sweet sweet voice in my ears.... When i woke up, i had spent 70 dollars listening to the podcast.. luckily, my phone company had put on a "spending roof" so when i had used those 70 dollars, my data would be automaticly turned off... My phone bill is gonna be hella expensive next month, but the podcast idea with spotify is a great idea, 10/10 would listen again, and im actually about to listen to more of it, as it's my bedtime. You're my favorite narrator, and my biggest and only regret, is that those money didn't go to you.

Look into cleansing the people rather than the house.

47:21 This story gave me chills.
The story about the bestfriend and her passing and receiving the message gave me chills
time stamp for that story?
@Lets Read!
Thank you wow just found your podcast. I'm from Scotland chilling tonight on the couch enjoying the creepy. X

Why would people be 'Drinking' at a high school?
It said the teachers put out "Chips and Soda for the students that weren't Drinking."
I know. Lol wtf
Graduations do sometimes
It also said they "went up to the bar"...uhhhhh...what?!?; Lol
@@SleepyBeamer not in the US. Drinking isn't legal for high schoolers, even when graduating.
Obviously this happened not in the US. You know there are places besides the US?
My favorite channel!!! Yesss! So happy about the podcast! 😍❤😊😊😊
Thx for making videos Let's Read
You made my night shift go by so much faster 💕 you have a new sub!
59:16 jeez this one was scary af
Seriously
Scariest thing about that one is how hard it made me roll my eyes 🤣
I’m from Pikeville Kentucky and the first story FREAKED me out coz I never see it in the media
Just made my night with this thank you!! ❤️❤️
Dont change the music at the end of the story I love it
The story at 1:11:00 , I read about this somewhere that sometimes demons and other entities attach themselves to someone for i don't know what reasons but no matter how much you move house it will always follow you because it's not the house that's haunted, it's the person. Look into cleansing the people rather than the house.
I love you Joel
@@toogiemoriarity4377I love you hole.
I WAS JUST LOOKING TO SEE IF YOU HAD A PODCAST LAST NIGHT, THANK YOU!
Oh my goodness this is long.... AMAZING!
Yo it's literally 12:48 am and like that story with Alex getting possessed sent shivers down my spine
2 am and in the middle one of those emergency alarms went off
Poor Mary though!
At first I was thinking omg what a crazy woman and then it said she’s like almost 90 years old and I was like “auwhhhh😔” you gotta treat the elderly like little babies sometimes, they don’t comprehend as well. That was a sad story to me😭
Would you think that if Mary was Marty, an 90 year old man?
Your so sweet for saying that ..
Nah.. a predator is a predator. And that’s what Mary was, probably did that when she was younger as well, in fact I’m certain of it.
@@jebes909090 we all know the answer to that lol, sympathy is a one way street.
"Good day for a hike...." 🤣🤣
Such a good idea to do a compilation podcast. Keep up the great work man. ☺️ 👍🏽
I legit listened to the whole thing because I am on a road trip and I love your youtube channel!
