I've had a stranger walk up and clock me in the skull. No warning. No reason. My head broke his hand and as he was nursing it, I took him down. Severe concussion or no, I would've taken his face off had strangers not pulled me off of him. But you can be damned sure there is absolutely no way I would ever let anyone just walk away after having assaulted me.
That's scary. Ted Bundy roamed campuses and found lone women. The way he immobilized them was with a tire iron to the head, but usually after getting them into or near his car. I hope that dude was arrested and charged because I think he was a budding serial killer. Many of these freaks fail the first couple of times. Hopefully your reaction scared him off of continuing this life of crime!

As an engineering student, i made the unfortunate mistake of knocking all my "dumbshit" classes out early. Only to find out, that was bad decision making. Leaving only soul crushing classes at the end.
Always remember you can file a report with the police, provide copies of any evidence (in case of police incompetence, always possible) they will likely not investigate, this can be good cause they could find out on accident

The story at the 36 min mark: why wouldn't the guys who are trying to kidnap the girl take her phone? The OP didn't even address that in the story. Not even that it was weird they didn't take it from her. That's the first thing a kidnapper does. The friend got the guys to pull into a gas station and didn't lock her in, there was no description of the kidnappers the OP confronted and they just let the both of them go? 3 men who were willing to kidnap a 21 year old girl just let her go when there was another girl there to get her? Definitely not believable. The guys would've just took both of them. And pretending that story was real, how does the OP criticize her friend's decisions when she, herself, walked up to the car without getting the liscense plate, confronted the kidnappers half dressed,behind a gas station WITHOUT THE POLICE? Also, I love how OP told her friend to "speak up." Like that's going to stop a kidnapper once they already have you in their car.

Don’t waste your money and get in debt. Though I love the gaining more focused knowledge on things, it wasn’t worth the $$. Plus still have to dish out $ for in going trainings to keep license that also costs $. So stupid. My bf makes more than me with only an associates 2 yr degree, his mom makes 6 figures with no degree, and my sister makes more than me with no degree and getting to be a stay at home mom through most of her kids school yrs (so lucky). I am happy for them and sick at myself for taking paths that school & society taught were “the right choice.”

My guess is Story #24 (2:10:54), was written by a high school girl at an average-level of popularity who watches teen dramas and fantasizes about what college is like. Guys generally are not this wordy, a real 9 or 10 on the attractiveness scale cannot remember all the names of everyone who flirts with them, and the classroom details/disruptions match high school, not college. We all know the stories are just for entertainment, but the analysis is fun, too.

Yeah, kinda just... felt bad for her. She might've been mixing more than usual to impress the guy... weird, I know, but I've seen it before. But it doesn't take a doctor to know that could be dangerous. I like to think she got busted and got clean in jail... but I don't think that's the case.
Story 10 was the tamest creepy professor story ever: "he never did anything to us but he later made an awkward pass at some other woman we don't know."

As an engineering student, i made the unfortunate mistake of knocking all my "dumbshit" classes out early. Only to find out, that was bad decision making. Leaving only soul crushing classes at the end.

The story at the 36 min mark: why wouldn't the guys who are trying to kidnap the girl take her phone? The OP didn't even address that in the story. Not even that it was weird they didn't take it from her. That's the first thing a kidnapper does. The friend got the guys to pull into a gas station and didn't lock her in, there was no description of the kidnappers the OP confronted and they just let the both of them go? 3 men who were willing to kidnap a 21 year old girl just let her go when there was another girl there to get her? Definitely not believable. The guys would've just took both of them.
And pretending that story was real, how does the OP criticize her friend's decisions when she, herself, walked up to the car without getting the liscense plate, confronted the kidnappers half dressed,behind a gas station WITHOUT THE POLICE?

It's called fight or flight, and fight exists for a reason. Believe it or not, it has saved a lot of people including myself from creeps that want to pray on someone they view as weak and an easy target.

Don’t waste your money and get in debt. Though I love the gaining more focused knowledge on things, it wasn’t worth the $$. Plus still have to dish out $ for in going trainings to keep license that also costs $. So stupid. My bf makes more than me with only an associates 2 yr degree, his mom makes 6 figures with no degree, and my sister makes more than me with no degree and getting to be a stay at home mom through most of her kids school yrs (so lucky). I am happy for them and sick at myself for taking paths that school & society taught were “the right choice.”

I realize this is late, but I'm gonna post it anyway. My guess is Story #24 (2:10:54), was written by a high school girl at an average-level of popularity who watches teen dramas and fantasizes about what college is like. Guys generally are not this wordy, a real 9 or 10 on the attractiveness scale cannot remember all the names of everyone who flirts with them, and the classroom details/disruptions match high school, not college.
We all know the stories are just for entertainment, but the analysis is fun, too.
