    The market scene looks like Spanish town market in St Catherine, Jamaica. David you should visit Jamaica 🇯🇲 you will see alot of similarity with the Jamaicans as you saw in Kenya and Ghana in the way they do things.

    Well hello Blondie/Mozunga. Another nice one. The foods looked delicious: the lentil samosas , the fried fish, cake and the ice cream. Remember eating mithai/kurma in Trinidad, only difference is that Trinidad mithai is crispy. I love how the lady laughed when you were having trouble frying the fish. It's nice to see you getting involved with what they are doing. Sandals looked good too. Sam and Obed and the other guides are doing a really great job. So on we go to the next one.

    You're making me reminisce them days man!, I was born & raised in Mombasa but now in Canada the places you're picking for street food are top I can tell you that, Damascus Shawarma then Azad for the Falooda was my pattern, then there's a place called "Karama mbuzi" that guy's known for his famous barbecue beef skewers

    • @Davidsbeenhere
      @Davidsbeenhere  ปีที่แล้ว

      Wow thank you so much for sharing that ali! Honestly it really means so much to hear that. If I can bring a smile or a memory of joy from these places then its means a lot as a videographer. I myself am still dreaming of that Damascus Shawarma and then of course the famous Falooda! Thank you so much ali.

    I keep hearing David saying Mambo, is that another way to say hello? Even my parents who speak Swahili have not heard anyone use the word Mambo. Only usually say Jambo. Can anyone confirm if Mambo is an actual saying?

    • @paulowaki7929
      @paulowaki7929 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes…actually most people prefer Mambo to Jambo… jambo is mostly used by the tourists so if you use it they’ll definitely know you’re new… but if you insist then say hujambo instead of just jambo but only when you’re at the coast the rest of Kenya uses Mambo.

    • @VikLathia
