If your wondering why the intro is a litte dry, I cut it out at the 11th hour due to it already being kinda long.
Also there's a small visual issue around the 7 minute mark so apologies. Shadow Hearts Covenant will be up next so look forward to that.

Great video! Kuon is the only FromSoft game I ever played to completion and sold way back in college days for semesters of books. Glad you have found new games you enjoy! Looking forward for more stuff from this channel!

FromSoft has great library of IP's aside from the souls games and I love it when they get covered. At least they are bringing back Armored Core which is one of my favorite game series.

3:43 I wonder if "fart kick" is a playground thing in Japan.
Other instance of that kind of combat move, that I know of, is from Digimon World, which is called "dust kick."

I've gone through all your back catalogue of videos and finished with this one. I am really in awe of your ability to create, your writing style, and your sense of humour. I've enjoyed watching all of your content, and look forward to seeing more.
You mentioned in a previous video about White Knight Chronicles. I'd caution lowering your expectations for those games, especially the second one - as they both are nothing on Dark Cloud or Dark Chronicle - but if you're going through the "Atla/World Building" phenomenon, they are worth a look. Consequently, I covered both of the games on my channel, and also appreciate that we tend to cover similar games.
Anyway, keep up the great work!

As a Lost Kingdoms fan, this was a really lovely video and surprisingly... It made me feel cozy. Thank you for taking the time to go through this game that gave me a very special memory in my childhood - the strange, hostile atmosphere of LK. And also Katia made childhood me realize I had a thing for girls, but that's another story. I totally echo your message at the end of the video, though. Rediscovering Lost Kingdoms made me explore more of Fromsoftware's past, and pick up a new hobby of media archival at the same time, AND find new fans who ended up being good friends. It's a dear series to me!!!!

I loved Lost Kingdoms. It has a sense of loneliness that's somehow comforting to me..

This game reminds me of Folklore, you use monsters in that too and depending on who you play they work differently.
I recommend it, it was one of the first Ps3 Game to launch with the system.

Discovering old games is great fun. Nostalgia for aomething you didn't play but can feel the era. For me it was Future Tactics: The Uprising. Kinda goofy 2003ish turn based tactics game. Like a jank prototype for Valkyria Chronicles.

Cheat for anyone wanting to pick this up and struggling. You can dupe cards using multiplayer. From memory it's load up a save, put a card up for the bet or whatever, lose on purpose, save on the victor to a new slot. Might require two memory cards.
