I was gonna say, they look in an tremendous amount of pain and due to the body langue exhibited obviously in distress and agony.
To everyone comparing their horses to these: don't.
Police horses have way more training and desensitasion than a normal horse would get. It's not logical to compare the two.
people can do what they want.
Just about everywhere the horses are pre-select in order to ensure proper temperament for the task at hand so that even includes canine prospects. Look in Mexico they have both kennels AND stables that raise these animals for a variety of assignments that will eventually come to pass!
I remember I was riding outside on a path that leads up to the stable and the pony I was on was being a bit cheeky and the lady who was helping on the ground used her crop to get him moving and it spooked him and I flew off and sprained my wrist and it was literally on the first day of the Christmas holidays (btw I didn't have a crop on me)
Omg I seriously hate people that do that i constantly see people smacking their horses even just to move a bit forward towards the mounting block is ridiculous
Feel sorry for horse's although trained their forced to be in violent situation's
