I’m not good at letting even my best friends into my life especially my home (probably because I’m ashamed at my rental place and I’m not good at entertaining in my space) I tend to meet up for a coffee somewhere I used to think like you in that it’s my fault I’m not I’m in touch with people from the past but I’ve changed my mindset that well they haven’t bothered with me either so we are both to blame. I do have some friends that I met through different times in my past and still see fairly regularly and then my friends who are in my current world but as I’ve got olde I’m more selective in whom I keep in my circle I empathise with so much you do and wonder if I have ADHD and/or autism but mask it pretty well x
