  • Having a healthy social life is a constant balancing act between being unknown and being known. But in business and career, being 'unknown' can ruin you; it can kill your career ambitions and end your business before they ever even start. In this episode, Andrew explains a little-known HACK he learned at CIA to grow popularity, reputation, and credibility even among people who have never met you! If you know the feeling of hitting a glass ceiling, getting stuck in a professional rut, or being 'blocked' from your personal goals, you don't want to miss this conversation...

    I am proof of this. I had no idea who Andrew was until I saw a few podcasts from my favorite casters, then I learned he can provide me utility in my life with Everyday Spy. Mr. Bustamante you are a genius, thank you for your knowledge and help

    This is literally how my year is going. Everything stated in this video is spot on and I'm living proof. I did this last summer and my clothing line and brand has skyrocketed in exposure, opportunities and funding. Almost identical experiences with my upcoming NYFW show with Mercedes Benz being the zenith of the experience so far and it only just the beginning.

    I really appreciate what you are doing.
    As someone who trained for special forces and intelligence and wasn't able to do either due to red flags for enlistment (mental health, hacktivism in my youth, medications) I feel like I was robbed of the life I was meant to live.
    The way I have adapted is accepting those guidelines are in place for good reasons and now I apply whatever skills I learn to my everyday life, ideally for good.
    Listened to about 4-5 hours of your content so far and I plan on finishing it...while taking notes. Some of the stuff you are able to talk about is pure gold.

    (backround: industrial eng doing msc degree on management and data analytics) So, key takeaways: 1) Find those people you can connect by looking for same traits 2) ‘Turn’ them by first helping them sincerely with second motives 3) wait. - the kinda unclear part is how to gain their trust, could you expand on that, cause it seems to be the key.

    Brilliant insights on growing an audience through advocates. I just recently discovered Andrew from an interview on impact theory with Tom bilyeau. I would add the truth that Andrew would not get the traction in these spaces if he did not have his message crystallized, so I would not advise this approach to anyone who is not ready because it will blow up in your face

    Andrew, great perspective on building your brand and making yourself referable. Good advocates turn into great prophets. My first introduction to you was with your interview with Lex. Interesting, that was my first experience with Lex too. You have to love algorithms. Cheers and wishing continued success!

    • @AlexT-sy6nm
      @AlexT-sy6nm ปีที่แล้ว

      You seem to fundamentally misunderstand what a prophet is. Prophets were holy men illumined by God the Holy Spirit (prior to Pentecost) and after Pentecost, up to our day still, are divinized and in union with the Holy Spirit through Uncreated Grace. Contemporary examples are Saint Gabriel of Georgia, Saint Paisios the Athonite, Saint Porphyrios of Kafsokalyvia, Elder Ephraim of Arizona, etc.
      Prophets and saints are not merely "good advocates". They are divinized through Grace.

    • @pohkeee
      @pohkeee ปีที่แล้ว

      @@theremnant7497: while I agree that he probably meant profits…the secular definition of prophet is: “an effective or leading spokesman for a cause, doctrine, or group”.

    • @theremnant7497
      @theremnant7497 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@pohkeee 🙄 thanks. But I'm well aware of what a prophet is (intimately). That's why I corrected the last person who was trying to comment on a misspell. Dude obviously meant to say profits, not prophets. Anyone with contextual sense could see that
