    The only one I'll gripe about whether it's a 'mistake' is the one with Elaine imagining Jean Paul the runner saying, "I trust Elaine, she is my friend." I always felt like it was just this, her imagining it, not necessarily her recounting in her mind a direct quote. It's the kind of thing that you might imagine and get down about when feeling like you've let someone down.

    The biggest mistake I caught in Seinfeld was in The Face Painter. George states that he said "[I love you] once, to a dog. He licked himself and left the room." However, over four years earlier, in The Ex-Girlfriend, Jerry asks George if he told his girlfriend he loved her, with George replying "Oh, I had no choice. She squeezed it out of me! She'd tell me she loved me. Alright, at first, I just look at her. I'd go 'Oh, really?' or 'Boy, that's, that's something.' But, eventually you have to come back with 'Well, I love you.' And on the scene at number 1 on this list, George came out of the bathroom with his shirt all buttoned up still. The two fan theories: #1. the “opposite” became the normal thing and he couldn’t tell which was which.

    This isn’t an error but it is fun to go back & watch all the Seinfeld eps & look for or listen out for Larry David. At the time the show originally aired Larry was not nearly as recognizable as he is now. So it’s like Where’s Waldo now to see or hear him in various episodes. For instance at the Chinese restaurant when Elaine asks the people at the table if she can have some of their food you can hear Larry saying What did she say? And when the cops & Jerry & George knock on Kramer’s door in California you can see Larry standing there too. Of course we know he was also the voice of Steinbrenner but he appeared so many other times as well.

    There are also a few scenes throughout the series where Jerry’s front door is closed, the camera switches views, and then the door is open.
    Also in The Implant (Season 4, episode 19) when George asks who he can get the death certificate from, he places five sandwiches on his plate, the camera switches views, and then there are only three on his plate. #2) profact: The show's production company, Castle Rock Entertainment is in reference to the fictional town of the same name, in horror author Stephen King's books. In a short story by King, a man is repeatedly haunted and attacked by a Library Policeman. It stems from overdue books since from when he was a kid.

    Regarding the scene with George's briefcase the mistake is different than the way it's explained. The briefcase is actually NOT "suddenly closed". Watch the briefcase scene and take a good look at the briefcase at 4:04 and also at 4:10. You will see that the briefcase is still open, but its lid is removed.

    It's a great show. I've been rewatching for years. Anyway, it's not just continuity mistakes, but sometimes script errors. Like S4E11 The Airport. Unless the seat that Elaine sneaks into in 1st Class (even though that airline apparently doesn't have first class) is vacant because the occupier has gone to the toilet, there were no spare seats on the plane for Elaine to sneak into. Jerry and Elaine took the last two. There are plenty of other incorrect things in the show, but it doesn't detract my love for it.

  • @jasonarcher7268

    In "the Cadillac" Kramer gets chased across the rooftops by the cable guy. The weird thing, is that BEFORE that scene, a guy from ConEd calls and says that some clowns were running on the rooftops and damaged some equipment. That's the biggest continuity error I've noticed.

    Are you serious about the Twix. It’s 50 cents and he needs a nickel. And he had 3 coins??

    Jeez

    • @bernadettelovespie4734
      @bernadettelovespie4734 ปีที่แล้ว

      If he had a quarter and two dimes that still doesn’t equal .50 cents but yet he’s able to insert the 3 coins he has and the machine would move to drop the Twix? Vending machines won’t do that. There is no combo of 3 coins that will equal .50 cents he had to pay for the Twix...that was the point and for this video they consider a mistake in the show. Since he didn’t have time to find another coin when watching the scene.

George is dating a prisoner woman and when he sees her for the last time in his apartment, she opens the door, he enters (the door still open), camera back to her and when the shot is on George again the door is already closed.
