I think it's a brilliant list. To squeeze Karmer's best moments into a top 50 would've been extremely difficult. He could easily have a top 100. Great video!
One of my favorite's is when Kramer puts his key in the bird food, the bird eats it then dies and Kramer's response was "The bird was too weak and feeble to know what it was doing" lololololol
1. The cigarette and beer. Utter genius from Michael Richards! As good a physical performer as there has ever been. His portrayal of Kramer was actual magic. Even he himself can’t explain how he became that character. The answer really is magic.
😂😂😂. You just can’t get much better than Kramer when it comes to comedy. He has no filter, eccentric tastes, is downright spastic, and can be pretty annoying. But strangely he’s endearing. The coffee table book bit killed me btw! “If you don’t have a coffee table, it turns into one.” 😂😂😂
There are so many great Kramer moments, you can't do a top fifty without leaving out a lot of them. But how could you leave out the scene where Jerry sees that Kramer's smoking has turned his face into "an old catcher's mitt." Kramer reacts as if he were Gloria Swanson in Sunset Blvd. It is a priceless, hilarious scene that they could barely film because Seinfeld kept cracking up!
That feels intentional. Jerry's a standup comedian, so outside of his standup act he settled into the role of the straight man while his professional actor friends delivered the comedy. The show's whole sense of humor hinges on Jerry's neighbors selling themselves as zanier personalities than his.
@@Princess_Ruto It's a method that's been a part of many comedies. Bob Newhart was the straight man, Mary Tyler Moore the straight(man?) haha. The Barney Miller character, the straight man. It works well.
I dont know about the order of the rest of the list, but "here's to feeling good all the time" being number 1 is perfect. It was the moment that made me want to watch the entire show.
As I watch this, I realize that for as much as I liked the program, I found the supportive characters of Elaine, Kramer and George to be much more entertaining than that of Seinfeld.
yeah its always like that, what would charlie sheen be without Allan and Berta, what would Moe be without Larry and curly, what would Frazier be without Niels and Martin, the supportive characters are always creating the situations and dialog ´s that allows the main character to make funny comments as he always seams to be verbally "smarter" than the other characters and that actually makes them less funny in a way.. strange how they almost always make shows like that, often you don`t need a "main character" like with Seinfeld, but someone always have to make 10 times more money than the rest of the people while only doing half the work, just like with all other aspect of human business.
Although he has his moments of silliness; in a sense Jerry is the "straight man" in the group. In other words, the most normal/sensible one, so it's not surprising that many find him the least entertaining. That said, Jerry is my favorite.
The secret is that it's the story of each character which is funny, but Jerry still making you laugh about it. You also see it in his stand-up comedy: he persuades you to understand and feel his sense of humor. In the show "Seinfeld" he does the same, only he points you to the humor in others. The kind of humor in the show is also Seinfeld's humor: simple oddities in everyday situations.
