Charles is no longer in a catatonic state. In the from the ashes Infinity comic, we saw Charles who said that he was also imprisoned in the same mansion and that bald guy was torturing him.
I'm so glad you brought up the pointless "misunderstanding" fight. Who shows up asking for help and then immediately attacks the people they are asking to help them??
"The Anna Marie School for Gifted Rascals"🤣🤣🤣🤣. Coin that shit! Great review. I Love the new characters. And the Art is fantastic. It'd be cool if We get Siryn as a member of the Uncanny X-Men. And Jubilee's entrance was the shit!
I find it interesting that three of these four characters immediately connect to the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse. You've got death. Ransom connects with famine, as there is likely a connection to the empty hole in his chest. Calico can easily connect to war as she denies what she is and will war with herself. If Jitter somehow connects to pestilence, we're going to see some interesting stuff go down.
I’m loving this so far. The artwork is great. The storyline has potential. This could really turn into an interesting X-Men team. Wonder if they would finally develop Jubilee’s power? These first two issues did a great job setting the stage for what can come down the line.
I understand Chuck, those moves would've worked on me too. This is definitely my favorite from the ashes title though, I find myself running to it when it comes out, which I can't say for the others

BWF, Ty for your videos and keeping me current. Awesome job! The superhero misunderstanding trope is one of my favorites and one that, honestly, feels like hasn’t been done right in awhile. I also think it’s a great place for artists to show off their chops, often on a two page spread. Excelsior!
They need to do team called something like ,uncanny apo-X . That is either filled with a combination between former horseman of Apocalypse , their clones or their children that some how still have altered genes from the effects of Apocalypse making them horseman in the past . That would be cool
@@alexnejako777 Agreed…Honestly the franchise has enough characters that they should be developing. Armour, Gentle, Darwin, Maggot, Blob, and even OG characters like Banshee or Rictor, maybe sunspot. A lot of recycled plot points in this book- group of young mutants with a mysterious past running away from a new threat, mad scientists using mutants to hunt other mutants, n a dark figure from Charles' past seeking revenge, etc. I like the fact that they have a mutant that pretty much references The Matrix with her "super focus." The ghost one is visually coo too. I'm thinking the horse is the mutant as well and Ransom's powerset is 🔥 but change the name
@@karmabum21 it really does seem like it. Lack of originality n a rush to kill Krakoa too soon, when it was one of the most innovative eras X-Men have been through in awhile

These seem to be picking up some steam. The new characters have some interesting new powers (except Ransom; energy absorb/redirect is kinda stale for me after so long). What if Calico's horse is the mutant and not her? Kind of a Devil Dinosaur/Moon Boy situation. Thanks Ernie! Always good breakdowns.
I agree with you about the superhero misunderstanding, i hate them. That being said i still enjoyed this comic and I'm more frustrated in that i wanted more
I enjoyed seeing the new characters fight to see their powers in action. But I agree the reason for the fight was terrible and bothersome. He looked at me let's fight.
The first issue, I didn't care for the artwork, but the second one is good. The storyline is building and showing potential. The usage of Siryn as weak or twistable to the Warden's manipulation is disappointing. Granted that prior to the fall of Krakoa and who worked with the team of mutants to validate mutants were dead and she had the entity that possessed her and her teammates were able to end that control of her mind/body, now she's another victim. I would imagine her uncle Black Tom and her dad, would be scouring around for her whereabouts since the fall of Krakoa, with Black Tom's worked with Sage, Forge and plus Sean's close friends, they should have a sizable force with Juggernaut & Scott's crew to free the imprisoned mutants. That might be a down the road plan of Scott's and why he didn't want Roge, Gambit, Wolverine to be premature on moving too quickly. Scott's captivity under Orchis was being patient about getting all the domino's aligned for the proper execution. As for Charles, while some of the mutants aren't thrilled by his actions with Krakoa, eventually, while mutants/humans died under Orchis, most of the mutants were resurrected in the White-Hot Room Krakoa site eventually, including all the mutants from the destruction of Genosha, by Charles's sister Cassandra. If many of the mutants weren't exiled into the White-Hot Room environment, there wouldn't have had the people for rebuilding Krakoa, saving Jean. Charles's story is still being crafted about the decision of saving mutant's lives, siding with Orchis and such. I still think Charles's future/role for mutants is still there, his image is tarnished but considering the things Scott/Erik/Jean/Mystique/Destiny has done, it's not one that is no less cold, calculating, or unfeeling.
This whole "black hole" where a organ should be is ridiculous because even a microscopic black hole would destroy the planet if it didn't evaporate immediately. Sustaining a black hole in a humans body just means that the body wouldn't exist and neither would the planet. Also, the weight alone would drag that person to the Earth's core before destroying the planet. Why can't they just say its a gravity well? It makes about as much sense but it's also way more reasonable than just casually having the most powerful force in the universe inside of a human body. Edit: they could also say that the organ is just made of dark matter so it creates an artificial gravity well. It still doesn't explain how they can move under that amount of gravity but it's way more reasonable than a black hole. A small dark energy field around the organ can help with the gravity problem too but it wouldn't work with a black hole.
I love how they gave her the official Equestrian girl azz. 😂 but hate they gave the Asian characters these over exaggerated anime like facial reactions.
