Scary to think this game was literally 30 years ago... and I remember it like yesterday ... this game was just a few days after the SA team arrived from the ‘92 World Cup...

What an upload! As a kid I was given a board plaque with photos of the game signed by some of the players. Got destroyed when my folks shed roof caved in and stuff just got worn

This one of the B & H final 91/92 between WP and EP brings back stacks of memories. I was a very big fan of Adrian Kuiper. If you have more similar footage it would be great!

What a time travel journey this was for me, thank you for posting this. The Corlett Drive stand at the Wanderers being built! Titans of SA cricket in the sides on this day: Gary Kirsten, Kepler Wessels, Herschelle Gibbs, Adrian Kuiper, Eric Simons, Dave Richardson, Craig Matthews, Mark Rushmere, Dave Callaghan (I could actually list almost both complete teams for that statement)! If my memory serves, didn't Paul Rayment later cross over to WP, and make me a very happy Province supporter the day that happened? And if you're THE Paul Rayment, thank you wholeheartedly for your service and the entertainment you provided over the years!

Wow, I remember this game clearly. Was 16 years old back then. Lazard and Kuiper scored centuries but Kepler Wessels countered with a century of his own to give EP the title.

If EP topped the log, I seem to remember that St Georges Park was undergoing renovations to the centenary pavilion or adding on the duckpond pavilion and if vice versa, similar constructions was going on at Newlands - recall that international cricket was back and we needed the extra capacity. But strangely Wanderers was too
