Just know that the minimum amount you can put is still 5 euros/4 pounds etc. You can edit the inspect element and add a custom amount, but you can't add like 2.50 euros or something. It still has to be 5 minimum. It works :)
Can confirm, this works as I just added $20 USD to my Steam Wallet by editing the $10 button. Worked like a charm. (12/25/2023 9:00 PM CST) **If you leave the page after editing the code, it will revert back to it's original amount. It does not keep the numbers you enter if you return to the purchase page after completing the funds transfer. Why can't they just add an option that we can do custom fund? I'm a dev, and seeing that we can just change it in dev tools means that a simple javascript code can handle this change and option as well.

It seems you can not input any amount lower than the lowest on the website, so if you try to change it to a smaller number instead of a bigger one it will not work.

Yes, "1000" will equal to $10, and you will only be charged the amount you entered, so in this case $10.
