Just watched Ronny Dahl. towed 3 tonnes and his calculations were 13.5L with the 2.8L LC seems your 20L might be out a bit. Ronny allowed for 10% on tyres too

Yes I saw that and if you saw I couldn't get anything near that without the van in tow
Anyway I did the test from Sydney to Goulburn, do you know that highway?
I'm 2/3rds the way to the Simpson desert with numbers just over 14.5 so I don't know how far he drove the terrain or his weights exactly
I'm not doing it to compare to anyone, the numbers are what they are and that's how I'm publishing them. But those numbers of his. I wish I had them

Just watched a couple of YT videos of this years Big Red Bash. Been plenty of rain up that way and a little more predicted this week. Hopefully not too wet for you, should harden up the sand dunes for you though.
