Hi David 👋 I need to pick your brain a bit today x I have 12 baskets on posts with red geraniums and lobelia x I wanted them in flower for June 22nd but was not a single flower in sight 🤦🏻‍♀️when should the last tidy up have been before they were left alone to get going so I know for next year x
    Thank you David 🙏🏻

Hi Kimmy, Have to say that I can't remember where you are, are you in the UK, if so you have little hope of getting a basket to be in full flower by then even in a normal spring, let alone the one we had this year. You would need to be potting them up by late March and keeping them in a greenhouse to enable this to happen and also not cutting them back in an any way (just pack them in). My basket is reaching its peak now - in late July, which is quite normal. Joy Stock, one of our top basket growers (see the show video) keeps them in the basket all year around and in the greenhouse until the show day. D

Can you grow angel pelargoniums as a houseplant?

@@Ladyloubug9 You can but you need good light, they may get a bit leggy but just give them a good cut-back a couple of times a year.
