Another Great Jeff!! Love your reaction to the Lithium Cubes! Lol Picked up a package after our conversation!! Looking forward to trying them! You’re definitely gonna be busy with the next few projects on this thing. Looking forward to the videos!
Keep doing your thing Jeff you’re one of the realest content creators in the space in my eyes. They will always be there, but even more so will your supporters.
Thanks for another great instructional video. You might wanna consider trying Geist interior leather cleaners. They’re pretty incredible and a variation on the color lock but I think next level
Wow, that transformation on that steering wheel with such minimal effort was impressive! Those cubes are the real deal. On a side note, it's your channel, so do with it what you want concerning the trolls. I just want to say that I would appreciate it if you hid them. There's already enough negativity in the world without having to see it in my entertainment choices. Just my two cents. I'll keep watching regardless due to your relatable video style. I've gained a ton of information from your videos!
yea youre prob right. I figured if it really messed it up i would get another wheel like i did in my last car. Im going to work with geist on some filler and color match stuff
Jeff, your channel is great, it’s a shame you get crappy comments. I subscribed from seeing you post from OGs podcast awhile back. Haters will always hate I guess.
I‘m sorry to tell you this, but you actually damaged your leather steering wheel in this video. Those Lithium Cubes are melamine sponges. All the black stuff you had in the cubes and your towel was not dirt, but the colour (leather terminologyd base coat). Which means the factory top layer (top coat) was removed and the leather is now factually damaged. Nothing short of a leather repair job will fix this. You can actually verify that yourself: if you use any type of cleaner, go over that wheel again and the black stuff keeps coming off and off and off again in your towel, you know what‘s up.
Ill check it out, and i appreciate the back and forth we had in the facebook group. Im sure youre right, the wheel has alot of use and there are several scratches and knicks that i didnt show on video. I figured if it really messed it up i would get another wheel like i did in my last car. Im going to work with geist on some filler and color match products to see if its restorable.
Your channel is very informative and has helped very much in sorting through the vast array of detailing products.

There‘s not a single „troll“ comment under this video, only comments which hint to the damaging nature of those cubes.
@@AndreasSchwarzinger He was talking about his previous videos.
@ I see
Them cubes are very abrasive. works though, i might just try it.
Yeah, its melamine. I see it as a sort of last resort to clean...

@@brandonnixon7105 yeah they say it is similar to 3000grit sand paper. It's the user too you can of course use a light touch.

Magic erasers seem to always dull a finish. Hopefully its not the same material.
it is melamine, there is a rough side and a soft side, it feels less abrasive than an eraser.
Jeff, try not to kneel in the seat. It’s not only hard in the stitching, but also puts stress on the heating elements.
good call, ive actually replaced those for customers in the past when i worked at sound solutions..

What’s the best way to clean a steering wheel then?
