Thank you, you have taught me more than the page from Pro Presenter. I hope God fills you with blessing. Keep up the good work.

Thank you so much. Just learned how to create the count down timer. Also, found out how to get it to automatically start using a calendar.
Any idea how to get it to automatically go to the next slide after the timer is done?

It depends. If it's gonna end at a specific time, I'd use calendar (like 9:32, every time). If it's gonna end at different times (once 9:32 and next week at 9:37, for example), maybe a go to next timer would work better.

@@PaulClifford We start the services at the same times 8 & 11.
Can't figure out how to get it to the next section of the playlist

Thanks for the training. I am trying to put a countdown timer for the preservice announcement loop, but it is restarting every time it loops to the first slide. Any recommendations. Also, I could start it to countdown to a time, but we start it randomly each week at about 15-20 minutes prior to the service start based on when we get to it. So, we want a quick shortcut to put 15 for example, but not sure how. Can you help with these?

Put the action to start the timer on a slide in a presentation before the loop OR, disable the slide it’s on so you have to manually click on it.

I'm on PP 7.12 and I've added both the message countdown and pro countdown to my announcement slides but they aren't showing up. I did add action>prop and it's not showing. Any ideas why?

Make sure it's routed correctly in the current look. That's where I'd start. Second, you said you added the message and countdown, but are adding the prop. If it's a message on the messages layer, in recent versions (over 18 months old), I'd make sure you show the message b/c props is a totally different layer. If you created a prop with that information, then showing the prop should work (if the props layer is enabled for the screen in looks).

    Great resource, Paul, thank you!
Is it any different adding a countdown clock to a video? For example, I want to show a countdown clock on our welcome video...

Nope. Pro7 will put a countdown over video just as easily as over a still image.

Thank you, Paul! For the slide timer, if one wanted to add a "service starts in:" would you put it in a separate text box?

So, if you're using the timer function on a particular slide (not in Props or Messages), yes. That's exactly how I'd do it.
