Hey there! I'm a production leader at Blakeney and truly loved seeing this video! It is amazing to see the impact our church has on people. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out and if you ever find yourself in Charlotte we will have a seat for you at Blakeney!
Thanks for producing this video. I am here in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and I have the opportunity to know the elevation church behind the scenes with so many details, you have no idea how you blessed me! I'm happy and I wish God's best for you!
GrandMA is a REALLY good program for lights for a church. I do lights for the high school campus for my church and it is a really good board and program for lights
This is great as i was part of a smaller churches media team and compared to our local churches we had so much equipment but compared to the church you showed here we had peanuts. One thing i was always fascinated by was visiting different churches too see how they operated. Thanks for making these videos.
I wish you could've covered the topic of room micing. Where they placed their mics, how many mics, & what kind of mics xD Could you make another appointment to cover the question? lol btw, love the channel. You are a genius by coming up with this channel and covering this topic of "bts 'x' church"
I have several on the channel. Check out our BTS playlist th-cam.com/play/PLEhRxoslWKii8eP2p5fv3r2Gqlbncii5W.html. I am filming a new BTS next week at a church in SC running about 250 in attendance. The church recently made a huge transformation to their worship space. Sub if you are not already to watch when it goes up. Thanks for watching.

Nice church but I think I'd have a hard time going there. Seems so "professional." Not that that's a bad thing. Just not my cup of tea. I prefer a more church feel that is a quiet peaceful place where it's easy to pray. I guess I'm just an oddity these days. I have a hard time focusing with so much going on. So much distraction.
The latency basically means how much delay there is between two technologies over distance. The lower the better because it takes less time to send the signal back to the receiver.
A mix of sm58 and 87a capsules and one ksm8 capsule on a decently high end transmitter. I didn’t get footage of the receivers so I’m not sure. That’s really all I know. Sorry I wasn’t more helpful. Thanks for watching.
It’s because it’s not really a church where you can legitimately know your “pastor” or your worship leader. You’re separated from the leadership. It puts them on a platform, and you are stuck as an Audience member merely there to be entertained. I have a huge problem when a worship service becomes to “produced” that you are merely part of a show. It’s hard man...church has become a building and a service, rather than a collection of spirit filled believers that are working to reach the world for Jesus
@@bleckybob its not a show and its not entertainment. its worship that calls upon the presence of the LORD and He'll come and inhabit the place working in the hearts of people there and watching
Sydney Jones I know for sure they are Shure SM58 capsules on their wireless but I’m not sure about the transmitter. I’ll reply soon with a more detailed answer.
58's not the greatest but ok. A silent stage with in-ears would do great with them but monitor wedges all over I'd look into Audix. Higher gain before feedback. Also would help to have monitors that won't feedback as easy like EAW microwedges.
@@cdubb9781 It’s a church with probably once or twice a week singers and microphone etiquette is non existent. Live sound has gotten way better since in ears and infrared mic gates. In my opinion. Wedges are still great but mixing monitors is still an art.
@solojft Judas use to talk like this... My Pastor once said to me "you must not give fish to a person, but show the person how to fish, because that person you give fish will always come for some more but"
I prefer a more midsize church. I’ve had a lot of bad experiences with these mega-churches that over produce and everybody looks and dresses the same. I prefer originality and uniqueness. Many times I have experience these high-end production churches as being very closed off and they have a click. They have never authentically made me feel connected with them. Seems like they are too busy worrying about everything looking like a huge touring concert.
“If you don’t have this part of your production” so this is more of a production than a church ? They have all these fancy cameras but is the spirit of the Lord present? “What is esteemed by men is detestable in the sight of the Lord” .

ConnorT Thanks so much Connor! I’ll let you know when I’m up next for sure.
What guitar stands do you guys have? I’m trying to find stands that store away like that

When I heard that you don't know the brand of MA Lighting, I just died inside. I use it daily, I absolutely love it.
Thank you so much! I've always wondered what they're using but obviously can't go there for just looking at the lighting. Greetings from germany.
Wow this is awesome! Thanks so much for doing this!
I got baptized there a couple years ago. I go to Mathews now.
Love the converted mic shoe holder!!!

great always wanted to see what is there
i would like you to do a tour of ballantyne
ME TOO!
is it possible
and also i would love to see more behind the scenes i love behind the scenes videos
Please cover the room micing if you do, do the BTS Ballantyne !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What guitar stands are they using?? I’m looking for stands like those to store like that
One day I’ll own a Nord stage... one day
SAME!
How is it going now with your rig?
This is great for a church "show" but what about a behind the scene of a more low budget church for a more contemporary service?

not a show
Do you guys have any used lights that you're not using anymore for donations?
I was really vibing to the Neo Soul at the background. Please share links if you got them
My small church is still using a 1999 old speaker
First track please?
Hey there! I program lights at Blakeney and would love to talk to you about the philosophy and creative ideas behind it. Just let me know!
Luke Drago Yes, I would love too. Send me an email to worshipleaderhangout@gmail so we can connect further.
Amazing.

What is the model of front camera that they used?
What brand zip ties?!? What did it smell like back stage?
I programmed lights at a small church in England using avolites
can you find out what they are using for their in house projection. is it LED panel or rear projection?

Jon Slagill I respect your opinion, but you should give Elevation a try someday, it’s actually amazing
Lot's of tech. You know Jesus used the sunlight and high ground to speak to the masses. I do enjoy the videos. I get great ideas for my band.
Thank you and thanks for watching.
No, I think you’re thinking about Obi Wan in his fight with Anakin. He had the high ground in that movie and he almost looks like Jesus. Js.
He also talked from a boat, using the acoustics of the water surface to project his voice - he wanted to get heard, he would use PA's now ;-)
What camera is the girl holding at 0:12 into the video and again at 13:28 when they are talking about latency over fibre
It looks like the Canon C100 Mark II...if not that one, it is one of the C series camera with a Canon EF Cinema Prime Lens
The latency basically means how much delay there is between two technologies over distance. The lower the better because it takes less time to send the signal back to the receiver.
Is this a rock concert venue, or a church?
awesome video! what mics do they use?

Worship Leader Hangout no worries! Just the mics are amazing to know 😄
Why does this make me feel cold and empty...

Hi, Chad. I'm curious as to what gears they use for visual production or the control room? :)
Hillsong pleaseeee
I agree!!
That looks like $1,000,000 worth of sound equipment lol
Justin M. About 60 grand in total for everything sound equipment
It is definitely a lot more than 60 grand, probably more like a quarter mil
I looked up the canon lens well over 200,000 dollars wow
My guess is that these Churches have outside investors which explains how they are able too have all this equipment.

I noticed you said that this is no longer the broadcast location. Where is the new location?
Christopher Dauphin their broadcast campus is now Ballantyne. Thanks for watching.
Nice man. I went back in November to visit the church. Curious what mics they use for vocalists?

Hey C Dub wich wireless mic do you recomend?
They could feed a village with that equipment
They could, or they could bring thousands of people to Christ.
@@egg6649 you know that that they dont bring in thousands.
Yeah, but the growth they are getting and will get, along with missions, will probably see thousands saved.
@solojft Judas use to talk like this... My Pastor once said to me "you must not give fish to a person, but show the person how to fish, because that person you give fish will always come for some more but"

why is it so loud when nothing is even happening? I would get crazy with background music going all day
and "extremely industrial zip tie" hahaha quality :P
I really wanted to turn it down. However, it was out of my control as just a guest of the event. Thanks for watching.
Worship Leader Hangout I totally get that. Great video, thanks for sharing :)
✌️”Church”✌️ 🙄🙏
it is. its one of the LORD's most important ministries on the planet rn
Did you mean hi hat?

The Holy Ghost is there and working. ive been to Ballantyne many times and im blessed by His presence everytime
This is just show-biz under the guise of Christianity. I am shocked!
Paul the apostal desired to know nothing but Christ and him crucified.
Not sure how he would fit into this church!
