  • Do ancient temples in Gujarat have secret underground tunnels underneath them? Do these underground passages stretch for hundreds of miles? Is there a vast subterranean area built by ancient builders of India? In this video, I show you undeniable evidence of an ancient underground network in India.

    22:32 - Conclusion
Hey guys, can you see this underground tunnel? It is a little bit hard to show from this angle, but you can still see it. Let me put the camera up as high as possible, and extend it as much as I can, so you can see what is on the ground. What you see is one of the last, existing ancient underground tunnels of India, and you can see a large rectangular opening. It is dark inside, because it goes deeper, but it is partially closed with another stone slab. This is not a new tunnel by the way, this is in the ancient temple of Modhera in Gujarat, which is at least 1000 years old. Unfortunately, no one is permitted to climb inside and see what is there, so this is the best I can show you.
But I am not making this video, to show you just this one tunnel. In this video, I am going to try and find undeniable evidence of a vast underground network, stretching for hundreds of miles, in the state of Gujarat. And this underground system was created by ancient builders of India. This is not the only tunnel in this temple by the way, there is another tunnel going from the other side of the temple as well.
There are big wasps guarding the second underground tunnel. This one does not have an opening at the top, so, I cannot put my camera at the top and show you. I can only show you through the wire mesh, but, if try hard, you can see that there is an opening, going underground.
Locals say there are vast underground networks that connect many ancient temples of Gujarat. Almost like an underground subway system. Some people have mentioned the same information online, for example Inditales.com says this about Modhera temple: “There is a closed underground path that potentially links the temple to Patan”. Patan is the city that has the famous Rani Ki Vav Temple. This is about 35 kilometers or 22 miles, directly north of the Modhera Sun temple.
Some locals here also told me that this underground tunnel goes to another temple called Jasmalnathji temple, this is about 30 miles, exactly to the east. So, when we put this on a map, we see that it is a triangle with perfect angles, because one tunnel goes straight up north, and the other one perfectly to the east.
So, I am going to travel east to the Jasmalnathji temple, and this is in a remote village called Asoda.
As soon as I reach the Jasmalnathji temple, I am mesmerized by its beauty, but, there is only one thing I am looking for. Is there at least one underground tunnel anywhere? As I look around, I am disappointed. Yes, I have traveled all the way to this temple because some locals in Modhera told me there is an underground tunnel here. But, it may just be an old folklore, not rooted in reality. Should we really believe what locals say? Are they just spinning baseless theories?
And then a local from this area walks into the temple.
There has been some renovation here, before the renovation, there was a black stone here. Under the black stone, you could see a tunnel. In Gujarati Language, we call it Boida. In Hindi, we call it Surang. You can go inside, and you can reach Patan.
He clearly says there is an underground tunnel going in from this area. And originally it was covered with a black, stone slab. But even after hearing this, I am sceptical about this story. I need more evidence, at least there should be some visual proof to validate the claim of an underground tunnel.

These were hidden tunnels remember. These were for the priests only or other special purposes. they may have had some type of machine that could be ridden like a bicycle or maybe even higher tech.

I myself had entered and walked in it for just 100 metres..It was in the palace of Thanjavur.I heard people saying that it led to 2 places from there one is the Big temple that is Bragadeeshwara temple & the other one is to a place called Pazhayarai, the oldest capital of Chola empire. I think that Pazhayarai is the present Dharasuram near Swamimalai.

My hometown is Patan and the entire town has multiple underground tunnels. I have grown up seeing them scattered around in temples as patan has more than 1000 ancient temples, mostly jain derassars. In-fact our house in patan has a boidu(underground step tunnel or surang) And having a boidu in your house (if not renovated in years) is pretty common in Patan.

Fun fact about Patan is that at one point the entire city was submerged after a huge earthquake and liquefaction of sand. The new patan city is build on the old city.
Solanki dynasty was mainly worshipers of Shiva and when mughals invaded Patan, lots of shilvlings were hidden under the talab(lake) or in underground tunnels. Then jain temples were later build on the ruined hindu temples. Most ancient jain temples still have shivlings in their basement quarters and jain priests still worship these shivlings in the morning before opening the jain temples.

I would also like to mention that I had visited Talatal Ghar in Assam which is a historical monument there also the locals informed the presence of several hundred kilometers long underground tunnel connecting to another historical monument called Karenghar at Assam . Infact sich a system was prevalent all over our country.

I live in Kentucky USA, here we have the longest cave system known in the world, Mammoth Cave, not the biggest, just the longest. You can tour the caves most anytime but there are parts blocked off, especially for the bats. My favorite cave entrance in Kentucky is in a place called Sloan's Valley, it's just beautiful and if you go at the right time in the Summer the cool air coming out of the cave hitting the hot damp air creates a layer of mist so thick you can stand in it and not see in front of you but if you duck your head you can see everything, it's really neat. We found a crack in the cave wall there and two of us belly crawled in, we came to a great big void in the earth, a straight drop and about a 15 foot gap with the cave wall on the other side with another slit crack in it like the one we were crawling in, it was like something out of a movie and I'll never forget it, we backed up and got out pretty fast, scary, but truly awesome.

Even if they have, they won't don the necessary spade work for large undertakings like excavation and exploration. Now - a - days tech. has improved so much that a human needn't voluntarily go in, robots or drones do the work. There is lot meaning LOT to improve in the ASI. Provided the correct people and teams, ASI can be transformed into a phenomenal force. As a Bharatiya (Indian national) I too am distressed to see the state of such architectural masterpieces.

The Facts by How to Hunt has typically been reading the emails of people that have had real experiences of Bigfoot, Sasquatch, Dogmen, even expanding into alien and/or demonic. It's not the banging on a tree type of guy.
Maybe you have heard of his channel. The Facts by How to Hunt and also his back up channel , The Round Table of Knowledge by hth.
His name is Steve Isdahl ( I hope I have spelled his name correctly) He's in Canada. He is close friends with David Paulides, and Scott Carpenter.
We also value greatly the history the American Indians have to share about these beings. Because it goes way back into their past before the USA came to be. And their way of life is not to cover it up like it is that the governments do today.
I was wondering, have you had experiences you can share? And beings typical of your side of the world. I would be very interested hearing of your real life experiences of any "cryptid beings", history and passed down knowledge of beings. Or any credible people that can share their true stories and passed down stories. Maybe if you have noticed a link between these beings and your country's religion, or the ancient history in some way. Any pictures in the temples. That can give us a greater insight.
I noticed a pic of what you thought was a dinosaur next to a man, but I thought that it looked like a possible Bigfoot with the large size and very long arms. The video on Jan 18, 2023 "Temple Debunks Evolution Theory?" Bavka Temple at 2 min mark. What do you think?
We are trying to figure out the pieces of the puzzle that we don't understand about these beings. Some are even trying to figure out their language which sounds to us more like grunts. But that is their language.
Well please do get in touch with Steve Isdahl, if you do and are willing to share. I think what you would have to say would be very very interesting.
      Thank you for your time,

*Such tunnels are very common in ancient Indian temples* ... They were connected to 1.Fort & 2. Water bodies like sea, river or lakes.
These were not used for trade or used by laymen but used only by King in emergency times when he has to escape with small group of troops by foot. Or to hide treasure.
Such a tunnel might be how Shivaji exited Panhalghad and got inside Vishalghad.
British used such a tunnel (helped by an insider) to get to Tippu Sultan & also in the case of Jhansi Ki Rani.
That is why the tunnel is usually used only by 1 person or very close family else other people will know about location of the tunnel entrance & exit and allow enemy troops in.
The narrowness of the tunnel is made intentionally so that people new to the tunnel cannot make swift pursuit on horseback. There could also be wrong turns and dead ends to waste time of enemy in pursuit.

Thanks for sharing this fascinating find Praveen. I think that the ancient high tech civilization that once existed globally with their ease of cutting through hard rock made many such tunnel systems. There are stories of such enormously long tunnel systems in South America and even some legends of such tunnels in N. America. I'm sure they had some method of lighting these tunnels and possibly some methods of air circulation. If they had cars of some kind in these tunnels then you would not need many large entrances for people to gain access to them and catch a ride on these cars. It is exciting to think what may be found in these tunnels if they were excavated and opened for exploration. If they could dig out the Rani Ki Vav temple complex it should be much easier to dig out and explore these systems reinforcing or repairing them as they went. What a shame these kind of things are suppressed by those who don't want us to know about this glorious past.

Yes our ancient indians having technology to cut the stones as easily as cake and to dig the earth with the help of fallen angels with extracts of green leaves of particular trees(for Rock cuttings) which was now less available and technology was not publicised openly for some reasons of selfishness which is common in indians

More and more ancient technologies to be discovered, so much more! Just the ability to navigate and build a tunnel for such a long distance in itself is amazing! Let alone oxygen and lighting and traveling at a speed making these tunnels practical to use. I mean the ancient world is a mysterious beauty being rediscovered more each day. Kind and Heartfelt Thanks Praveen for this amazing information, research and sharing of it! Much Love, Light, Peace and Joy of Being! DaveyJO in Pennsylvania

Any thing to uncover or learn about Hinduism is considered bad in india these days as the woke liberals and leftist historians will call it attempts to glorify Hinduism at the expense of muslims.. the political correctness is killing democracies.

As India is the most spiritual country on this planet and their teaching systems in special Sri Sathya Sai Baba schools, universities and other educational Institutions are unique, because India has always known their heritage " that they are not the body but the soul" which incarnate 1000 of times until you become a light being full of love. According to this belief which was also in the Bible but sadly so few spiritual people teach that in the west. India will slowly teach the whole world the truth, but humanity has to be ready. Thanks Praveen Mohan taking humanity higher and higher to the truth.

This brings to mind the tunnels leading from the pyramids in Romania’s Bucegi Mountains. They are of very advanced age and lead to a hidden chamber under the Giza Plateau in Egypt, to underground cities and installations, and to Tibet with an offshoot branch to the Carpathians and then on to Iraq, and from there to Mongolia and the Gobi Plateau. All of this is covered in a series of books by Radu Cinamar. So very fascinating. Thank you for bringing so many of India’s mysteries to light. Many blessings!

Hi Praveen, I really like your videos... informative and good. Underground tunnels ... i am not surprised. You can find underground ancient tunnels in Bihar also. Not sure now but I have been to Bararai ghat 25 years back. I have seen under river tunnels going in three directions. So big that ancient people used to travel on their horses. When i visited years before no one was allowed to go after a particular distance. I am not sure how it would looks today.

Aren’t “temples” built entirely for the people??? So it should not matter at all if someone like yourself wants go down that tunnel and investigate!!!! The fact that “people aren’t allowed to go down there”, absolutely means someone has something to hide from the people!!!!! As always this was a fascinating video and I thank you 🙏

History of India is wrought with invasions and destruction. Many were purposefully desecrated to destroy the original culture. Others to hide the past. Atleast since British India time when "archeology departments" were created there is a desire to hide than to reveal considering how many 1000s of years older it is compared to the invention of British identity.
This idea has carried forward since post independence in a corrupt hotch potch administrative ideological mindset that was subservient to their erstwhile masters.
Not sure if this long diatribe helps :). That's my take. It's a pathetic civil bureaucracy/ political establishment mindset.

@@rayarthur586 this is Hindu's inheritance and property, even Hindus detest anyone looking inside, only some Hindu saints or priests visited this chambers in the early times for meditation, secret meetings during invasions etc. Nowadays, Hindus are itself not interested in knowing the inside, but the local Hindu residents know or have an outlook of what lies inside. Usually, people hid inside for the aforesaid reasons, guerilla warfare or sudden invasions, dacoit attacks.

Praveen, great work and explained. There were more such underground tunnels everywhere in India where Temples-King's palace-Importantlocations-villages used to interconnected. Will need to find out using modern technologies and Lidar Technology with intrested people, government involvement and more importantly dedication towards recovering it. It'll help us to understand and learn the ancient India and its places. It's treasure of Human History for All.

His videos are changing the direction of our History. Therefore our Governments should appreciate his work and biggest prize should be awarded to him for his noble work.
Not only that but our Governments, temple authorities/trustees should give helping hand to Praveen by way of supplying him in every aspect -- to find out the underground tunnels, by opening necessary gates, allowing access etc. Archeology Survey of India should cooperate Praveen and they must do their work under the guidance of Praveen. 🙏👌👍🚩💐

I wish, so much, that those in India, would start remaking their original sturctures the old fashioned way- to show the world how amazingly detailed and sturdy Indian construction is. I can only imagine the sheer amount of tourism it would bring in, as well!
I also wonder if the reason I think the small openings might have been a thing is to bring in air to the tunnels directly from temples themselves. You see it a lot in centuries old mines to make sure there is a balance of carbon dioxide to oxygen.
Thank you for continuing to make such amazing videos, Praveen. They're awesome to watch, and you're helping your country's tourism far more than you know through said videos (I know it makes makes me want to visit!)!
