Haha this is awesome! I’m actually the guy in the video who brings Mikey to his private room at the all you can eat Wagyu restaurant. Since Mikey’s video, our restaurant has seen a quadrupling in reservations- we’re booked for months! Can’t thank him enough for the great review and I’m so glad he enjoyed his experience.

It’s smells like pee every where. I just went last month for the first time. I’m very sensitive to smells so I wanted to gag a lot 😭 I’m use to the clean Texas country air. 😅

Yes, Mike understands the use of the onion there! While the onion is slowly grilling and letting the flavor ooze out, you can put done cuts of meat on top of it. This accomplishes two things, it lets the meat soak a bit of the onion flavor and at the same time, the meat juice soaks into that onion. While that happens you can focus on cooking the other cuts. Then later you enjoy that onion full of so much flavor.
Have you thought about auctioning off “Meals with Mikey”? I’m sure your fans would love to chat and chew with you. Plus you would be able to raise money either for your channel or a good cause.

I love the Portuguese egg tarts, I have a dozen of them in my fridge right now!!!! I also love tempura, especially tempura shrimp 🍤
I went to an Asian supermarket yesterday and I got a bunch of noodles and some sesame mochi and a self heating hotpot bowl!!!! I had some of the noodles for lunch and a few mochi balls and I was stuffed!!!
I’m saving the self heating hotpot bowl for tomorrow’s lunch.🥗

That spicy Tonkatsu is the one bowl of ramen I need!! That’s everything I look for in a bowl of noodles! Those noodles look amazing!! If I could recreate that at home I would have it every week

IMO the key to enjoying wagyu is a little bit of brightness. Whether it be shabu shabu or teppanyaki, you're always offered a myriad of salts and sauces. Consistently I found something acidic (like ponzu) to counteract the greasiness and elevate wagyu the most.
