People don't always like us. Furthermore, we're not always even keeled (when changing plans on us suddenly, etc.) However, if you want a job done and done right, we're your people.
I am an ISTJ, I am so focused knowing everything, if there is a subject I know very little about when it comes into conversation, I will go home an research it until I know more than what was spoken about, that way I will never be classed as dumb. As for feelings, yes I have little or few to give. I am harsh, yet fair I feel. I am currently studying to be a paramedic, I feel I will be bloody amazing at this roll, I need to be out and about, but its also about following a protocol to a T. I am hardly ever rattled but anything, but when I am I just need a little bit of quiet time and I will be sweet. I am bad with people who can't get their shit together, work out what you want, then tell me! I do need to be told in advance if you want to change your mind, if you make a plan with me, you keep it!
ISTJs work consistently and systematically to achieve goals. When we're in our flow we do not like to be disrupted unless scheduled. Employers love the thorough, conscientious nature of this personality. We have a creative side that emerges as we grow older and are less structured. We need a lot of time to think and finding the most efficient way of accomplishing a task.
I get irritated when other people don't finish what they start. I also get rattled when I find things out of place. One of the two jobs I do is tax preparation. I like dealing with the numbers, because numbers only work in one way. People not so much. The other job is stocking shelves. And believe me, I know where everything is, what sells and what doesn't, and can easily figure what goes where. Without a computer to tell me.
Haha, this is me to a T. I absolutely hate unplanned and sudden change. Because I do indeed always have everything planned out, and I don't like not having time to shift my plan.
Oh wow, yup my brother is an ISTJ; - he'd go berserk when there's a sudden change of plans - would notice the slightest change of position in one of his cluttered belongings and would do everything in his power to find out who's the culprit in order to chastise them. (unless he found out that it was our parents) - would deeply analyzed the effectiveness of each word coming out of someone's mouth when they're talking, and would point out all errors that are present. - 'assumptions' are his nemesis - facts for life love him xD (I'm an INTJ myself, I deeply appreciate his objectiveness towards everything, and sadly we both have trouble understanding our INFJ mother) This is so interesting, I'm quite new to Myers-Briggs's 16 personalities, and your podcasts help me understand them more, thank you very much ^_^
@@hossam00999 Yes, we do, and in a lot of aspects very well, since we both see things in a very objective manner. We'd often have long discussions about many interesting topics. And pretty much back each other up when problems come, like a solid team. Very rarely we talk about our emotions/feelings, but at times we do talk about it, cause more often than not, that's our main stumbling block. To put it in perspective, as I have said before, our mother, like many other people has the "F" trait. And to put it simply, somehow I learned much faster than my brother regardless of me being the younger out of the 2, on how to balance myself when dealing with the "F" trait. And so, especially in family matters, I'd often find myself as the mediator in conflicts. A little side note: my father is also an ISTJ, mind you, borderline an "E", but I get along with my brother more than I do with my father. So it still differs from person to person.
6 month old comment, but I'll reply anyway. I am surprised you'd say something like that. Introverts generally keep to themselves. We only try to annoy those who don't take life seriously. You only have one life. Make it count!
@@OCViews well guess what this is TH-cam I’m gonna share my opinion however I want. He shared his opinion now I’m just doing the same. Dunno why u butt hurting by a random comment which is not even about u.

I'm an ISTJ and I agree with this message.
This 7 month old comment was literally me 3 years ago until I realized: A paramedic is a good thing to be...when you are young.

Work mate: Hey, we're going to change this...
Me: *anxiety rises inside*
haha :)
This guy nails it

Chris Juneza I’m an ISTJ and i do the same as your brother. I just have a question for you, are you as an INTJ get along with him?

I swear ISTJ is one of the most annoying personality types. It is next to ISTP.

My son is an ISTP and my wife is an ISTJ and I’m an INFP-- HHHHEEEELLLLPPPP!!!!!!!!
How nice of u judge someone by their personality types.
@@haoyuanjin8280 nice of you to judge right back. Why not say something like ‘ why do you feel that way’ Or just something that’s more productive.
