@grimripperrr I hope other people contribute too. This is a clear labor of love... but people should support this 🤑 If every person who watched this donated at least $10, you'd have 30k as of today. Crowd fund production like this! No sponsors, just pure community support. I don't know. People might not like that idea, and it might seem odd coming from me. But I'm more than my job. I've spent most of my adult life supporting and serving entrepreneurs, so. Can't separate that part from me 😂
@@FPVMama well I’d love to turn this idea into a longer 30-60 minute length documentary, and if you have any suggestions on how I could get some crowdfunding started I’m open for suggestions, feel free to contact me on instagram or discord.
You might not be able to tell behind the screen, editing, filming and doing the leg work. But I just wanna say I think you nailed what you hoped you would do with an FPV documentary.
"I don't have hundreds of thousands of dollars to produce an fpv documentary." Proceeds to release rawest fpv mini-doc of all time. Never stop Grim. You're videos capture the essence of this weird hobby / addiction better than any others I have seen.
This was just so elegantly raw and real. Bravo, Scott! It was nice chilling at the park, and I love what you captured... the people and their FPV truths 🤩
Just met Mike Duran at FPV Drone Fest UK - top dude! Also coming into the hobby and STILL skateboarding (Sk8Wine) FPV and skateboarding are the perfect pair
7:36 yeah thats something i love about FPV, you don't have to be physically fit to be able to fly, so as someone with a disability FPV has become a really great hobby for me
Nice work, Grim. This is a primo example of great content on a shoestring. I got over 2,000 hours in actual FPV flight time, and I think this short doc spoke volumes about our obsession. I'm an old, decrepit adrenaline junky, long past my prime, and I used to get my virtual fix from racing and flying sims. Once I found out about FPV, I was hooked. My sim controllers are now in storage; ain't hit a reset button in years. Show me a gap and I'll shoot it.
I love it great job Grimm did an amazing job on the documentary . Thank you man keep up the good fight my friend and making these amazing videos ! Highly enjoy it can’t wait to get a chance to rip with you one day if you make it to Florida I’d be down to rip .
I really enjoyed watching this. for real it's great and the way you put everything together just sends out a cool ass vibe. great commentary, great b role, great all the way around. it just seems real and I appreciate that. can't wait to see u make another one!
They really are, I have only good things to say about both of them. I went to Chicago to fly with dan a few months ago and he was all about making sure we had a spot I wanted to fly, and i met PDEVX when I was in Oregon filming this video, and one of my pdevx motors burnt out, so he gave me a replacement.
I've always been into disciplines which can never be completely learned nor mastered. Surfing, skateboarding, building surfboards, Marine Corps, Martial Arts, becoming a Composite specialist and composite material distributer by trade are just a few examples. I started in fpv during it's infancy and remember horrible analog fpv systems and no air mode. Only acro mode. I love building as much as flying my rigs. I'm still, and always will be, inspired by other fpv pilots who always remind me that I still have so much to learn. I'm constantly humbled by the skills of some of these pilots. The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know. "If you're green you will ripen. If you're ripe, you will rot"! This is the way of a perfectionist. My way. I wish I had others in my area to fly with. I'm alone here. Sorry for the rant. Lol
Been building since 2014. I've seen so much FPV lore it feel like it's been a whole lifetime already. Makes me happy that we live this whole world within a world. FPV gave me a carrier in Robotics but the joy of flight is still an unmatched blessing.
Ok I know I meme a lot but the production quality here is insane. For. Real. I hope you're able to make a full feature length documentary on your own terms man, you'd kill it 💪🔥
this is so epic ... i picked the perfect time to return to fpv having to relearn everything 5years later .. thank you for posting this inspirational video ... FPVAHOLIC is BACK
Sorry I waited a month to watch that. Great mini movie. It really captured the essence of FPV. I can only imagine what you would do if you really had a $100K to do a movie. Do more of this man!!!
Great video! I've been into FPV and quads generally for like 2 months now but I am hooked. I like how that one pilot called it a meta-hobby, which is exactly how i feel too. I was already pretty invested into software engineering, electronics, radio, 3d printing, video games, VR and flight sims... So it was probably just a matter of time til they combined into one mega hobby 😂
Truly, in the past, while the only option was analog video signal, the community was even better. Why? Because on a spot you could watch everybodys tricks live, talk about it live, not a post fact thing. Now, while we are most on digital, this has changed and this changed a lot. In the past everyone knew "ask for a free channel, always warn while you are pluggin in", now people (especially new to the hobby) don't care about it which is sad. All in all, this hobby will remain something unique to us. Thanks for sharing with us. Cheers and keep rocking mate!
sick. amazing story telling. I hope your FPV content plan works out. If so, would be sick If one day you have the resources to do this again but also include the communities on other continents. FPV is bigger that just the USA, there is so much US content and so little from elsewhere:)
Great video man it hit every point you don't need expensive shit to do documentary that was perfect this is what everybody needs to see great video man 👍👍👍👍
That was worth more than many movies I've seen at the theater. Thank you for gifting this to our FPV Community, Scott 🤩
Thank you so much Stacy! I appreciate it.

I love knocked loose
🎉🎉😅😅😮😅😮😅😮😊😮😅😮😅😊
Another killer vid. You knocked it out of the (fpv) park with this one!
I used to feel like I had some of the best non flying footage in FPV. No way I can say that now.
Now you got the juice …
a fighter jet on cocaine. yes.
Eat sleep FPV was a close second as best comment about FPV by a pilot…
Pickleball third!!
You might not be able to tell behind the screen, editing, filming and doing the leg work. But I just wanna say I think you nailed what you hoped you would do with an FPV documentary.

Hundreds of thousands of dollars would have got me a lot of cheeseburgers
This was just so elegantly raw and real. Bravo, Scott! It was nice chilling at the park, and I love what you captured... the people and their FPV truths 🤩
Such an awesome and well put together video. Thanks for the little cameo I got in there. Wasn’t expecting to see me on the tube today!
Captain Slattover picking up pickleball 10/10
Erick is drawing up plans for the Court for next year...
This is one of the best fpv videos/ fpv documentary’s yet!
Fire, fire!!! 🔥👻🔥 that purple smoke bomb on the drone was epic 🫡
That was a fun watch. Really captured the hang.
Glad I missed the Malort this time... Dan is too damn convincing... every damn time...
I regret the Malort
I think this is the best FPV doc ive seen. I wish you did have hundreds of 1000s of dallars to make another one.
Dude I got to say this is really really well done man Great job on this. No BS I could have watched the full hour of this style docu so epic work man
Nailed it! couldn't have said it any better
Just met Mike Duran at FPV Drone Fest UK - top dude! Also coming into the hobby and STILL skateboarding (Sk8Wine) FPV and skateboarding are the perfect pair
This is definitely what fpv is. Great freakin video grim you killed it with this one and im not saying that just cuz im in it. 💯💪
This is def one of my favorite videos in this hobby, so many relatable comments even as a somewhat beginner, all i need now is to find fpv friends 😂

You absolutely nailed it grim 🫡 thank you for all your hard work for the culture. 🙏♾️
Sick video. FPV and a Sur Ron. These are a few of my favorite things. FPV is one of the best communties I have ever joined.

Absolutely fantastic. Well done
Awesome job on this video just nothing but raw emotion and footage telling a story no need for a documentary.
This is the best FPV doco yet even though it's short. I credit mostly Grim, Bot and that first commenter in the video who nailed it.
Fantastic video Grim! Loved it
Great vid, I enjoyed the music.
Nicely done! Your edits are always super amazing & so well done. 🤙❤️
This is the type of video I want to send people who ask about FPV.
