  • Let's explore what photoelectric effect is and how the wave theory of light fails to explain the experimental outcomes.
    Khan Academy is a nonprofit organization with the mission of providing a free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere. We offer quizzes, questions, instructional videos, and articles on a range of academic subjects, including math, biology, chemistry, physics, history, economics, finance, grammar, preschool learning, and more. We provide teachers with tools and data so they can help their students develop the skills, habits, and mindsets for success in school and beyond. This is the most underrated channel I swear. People are wasting money in Unacademy, physics wallah etc whereas this is the real gem. These videos are of short times too and still makes the concept crystal clear. I mean the best 😭❤

      I suggest you ... Once you should learn from old videos of alakh Pandey too ... He is the best.. i am sure you will forget this too. I agreed that he is teaching well but physics wallah ( alakh Pandey) is the bestest

    • @BekaarEngineer_
      @BekaarEngineer_ ปีที่แล้ว +16

      Alakh Pandey's old videos have many factual inaccuracies, he actually doesn't really go deep through the concepts and is mostly out of touch with current physics. A student won't notice this, but I am a teacher and I do. He doesn't really have an understanding of higher physics(after 12th which a teacher should definitely have). And now this man from Khan academy is different, he lives and breathes physics. Go to his personal channel floathead physics and you'll see what real physics is. And this man is actually constantly learning new stuff and is up to date with current physics

      Not underrated, it's unpopular in India. I think it's mainly because of the language. In America it's big!
      I agree 💯 that it's way better than any other Indian platform. I am a fan of Sal Khan even before these companies came into existence.

    Yeah "the fun stuff"🥺❤️ your voice and excitement, that enthusiasm is unmatched and you are really the most enthusiastic physics teacher I ever saw till now, making learning so much fun, loving physics like none can.
    Rightly said by Sir Walter Lewin" Physics works!"

    When my teacher took this topic in class I felt so sleepy and bored. I had no hang of the topic and i thought this entire chap was a snooze but you're explanation changed my attitude towards this chapter. Thank you Khan Academy!!

    What a great explanation! It seems you really want us to know about these experiments. It must have taken a long time to find such a beautiful teaching method. Thank you so much. :)

    Sometimes I can't really believe that such an amazing content is accessible FOR FREE, like seriously without a single penny and they haven't even switched on "Monetization" on TH-cam since it throws a tons of ads at students.
    Really unbelievable and soo sweet of Khan academic 🥺🥺❤️❤️🙏🙏🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺God bless you people.

    Can I just say I was blushing listening to you this whole time! Like man... The emphasis at right spots..the excitement the explanation...The giggles..uff! ... It was like you are discovering this amazing phenomenon rn nd just being the cute curious kid describing it to us and we are awestruck at the same time! Got to listen to an explanation that seemed music to the ears after a longgg time...

    So intensity is responsible for knocking electrons out and frequency is responsible for the kinetic energy with which they come out. But suppose we have a loght with high frequency such that if knocks the electrons in the meat of the conductor out even (deep inside), doesn't that mean frequency also determines the number of electrons leaving the conductor???

    Looks obvious to me that's the way it should be. This seems to be proving there are only waves not the reverse. Wave absorption is normal and common. Why do you need a particle? Your only making a wave look like a particle because of a lack of understanding of the full attributes of wave mechanics.

    imagine a shotgun. intensity is the number of pellets sprayed out, and the frequency is the bullet speed. the higher the intensity the more electrons hit out by the pellets. the higher the frequency the higher the electron shot out speed
