    What a fantastic interpretation of Bach. The guitar comes through so clean and clear, you'd think Bach wrote for it. Superb!

    Uros your performances are without exception beautiful, clear, unadorned and wonderfully fresh, while still retaining the magnificence and gravitas of such historic music.
    You are a joy.

    Agree with Gordon & Leonard's comments. This was exquisite playing. Uros' phrasing and ability to bring out the inner lines is among the best I've heard - anywhere.

    Uros, your rendition is delightful, organic, full of emotion... like all your interpretations. I'm just a little sad that you have chosen to keep the microphones out of sight, in your recent videos. Some of us are just as passionate about recording and producing music as we are about music itself. I believe you are no different. In future productions, please stop depriving us of microphone placement.
    Thanks for everything. You are truly gifted.

      Hey Leonard Constant, thank you for such a nice comment! Yeah, you're right, I'm almost as passionate about recording as about the music itself. However, the only reason the microphones are not visible in the last few vids is because I tend to place them further away lately. The video is still live (audio/video recorded simultaneously), and I sometimes write on my blog about the placements. Here particularly I used a stereo pair of Oktavas w/ MJE-K47H capsules 1,5 m away at the height just below the guitar and a touch of another pair further away (2,3m) and way up (2m from the floor). If you have any other questions just ask. :) Have a great day!

      classicalguitar2 Thank you for your kind reply, Uros. And all my gratitude for the time you took to detail the technical aspects of your recording setup for this session. I really appreciate it.
      Warm salutations from Canada.

    Open D tuning...Impressive stretches! Very nice sound quality. The tempo you gave this piece was very appropriate. It's tempting to play some of Bach's music at faster tempos. Sometimes a tempo can add a whole different dimension to a piece of music. This tempo here staged the piece beautifully. Your performance really draws the listener in. At times the listener (not tne player) loses the melody line while Bach takes you up and down his scales but I guess that that is all part of the 'chase' or 'fugue' aspect of the genre. Great interpretation and performance. GD
    P.S. Is that a side stand for your guitar I saw? I have never seen one.

    • @UrosGuitar
      @UrosGuitar  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for your kind comment, Gordon! I'm not sure what you mean by the side stand - if you meant the guitar support I'm using - it's from a German company called ErgoPlay. Best regards, Uros

      Well said, Gordon Duff. I couldn't agree more! - "The tempo you gave this piece was very appropriate. It's tempting to play some of Bach's music at faster tempos. Sometimes a tempo can add a whole different dimension to a piece of music. This tempo here staged the piece beautifully. Your performance really draws the listener in."

      Do you mean 6 string drop D tuning? Tempo is good but the rubato seems to be more to acomodate technical facility than expression. If I'm wrong I hope the player will chime in, quite a lovely tone production though.
