Well, this is my all time favorite classical guitar piece. Since the first time I heard it 35 years ago I've probably listened to it thousands of times and I can't stand hearing so many people on youtube completely butchering it.. That said, this kid absolutely nails it - perfect tempo, perfect melancholy emotion, Tarrega himself would be proud ;)
I have been your fan for several years, and from day one I was deeply touched by your soulful interpretation of the Spanish classical guitar music, and come back again and again to your performance. This time my ears were specially drawn to the tone of your guitar. It is so clear and sweet, and at the same time powerful and projecting. Tárrega’s music + Baric’s performance + Master luthier’s guitar = Heavenly music! 👏👏👏👏👏❤❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Best rendition. I find myself returning to it all the time. There are a lot of recordings of Capricho Arabe on TH-cam. But this one is somehow high above all of them. Just perfect. Thank you.
I too consistently return here. @Uros Baric Is there any (sorry I am ignorant) modernization to make this appeal to contemporary senses?? Or do you just play however you perceive it?!
This is so good. Lots of players just mush-through the pull offs in the beginning (even world famous ones) but you did a good job of making sure that they were understood.
For me this is one of your best performances. It’s clear and fluent. All of your work is fantastic. I sincerely mean that. This piece, for me, shows musical maturity. Your playing is about the piece. A lot of musicians make the piece about them. Your work and playing is about the piece. Wonderful job, for what it’s worth. You’re a better musician than I’ll ever be. I’ll just keep trying.
Hi Uros you are a musician and recording artist of the highest caliber. I love your interpretation of this Tarrega Classic; fantastic playing, sublime.
Fantastic performance...seriously man. Execution, clarity and interpretation are all outstanding from what I see in this video. Keep up the good work my friend.
It's a great piece, no doubt about that. You do wonderfully at bringing out the melody and the mysterious quality of the work. Great sound; well recorded! Bravo. GD
Absolutely inspirational. The change of camera position seems a new innovation and works wonderfully well, really showing off your mastery of technique. I return to your videos time and time again. I am learning the Tarrega Pavana and the Bach Allemande for grade 7 ABRSM and try, extremely poorly, to imitate your performances. I don't suppose you could record the Villa-Lobos Prelude 3 which is my third piece - LOL!
Christopher Renn Thanks so much! Just keep practicing and above all listening to music you love, the playing gets better and better every day anyway :) Well, I could record that prelude in the near future if I can find the time, just added it to my TH-cam list.
Great interpretation maestro! Finally somebody that feels and play this beautiful piece the way the author intended (my opinion) same as your version of Lagrima (TEAR) (that played the exact way as read it completely loses the sentiment when by the name is suppose to bring tears not a marching sound) Players don't understand that the author can't transmit the feeling at a 100%, that is left to the performer that plays the song. Great job! 👍👌💪
Hey Uros, I've just played Prelude No 1 by Heitor Villa-Lobos and want to try something new now. I'm still undecided whether I should play Choro No 1 by Villa-Lobos or this piece: Capricho Arabe by Tarrega. Have you played them both and can you tell me which one is the harder one since it took me a while to figure out the Villa-Lobos Prelude :D Thanks in advance, Kalli
Well played! I tried one of the guitar supports, the same one I believe and just couldn't get it to work for me. My right arm starts getting numb when I play, particularly long pieces, I'm sure it's due to pressure on the inside of my forearm against the top-corner of the guitar. Do you have any advice for this? Is that why you wear that forearm band? Keep up the good work Uros. Tchuss!
Hi, I think you should not use much pressure on the top corner of the guitar but just place it lightly. I use the armband to be able to move the right hand freely, otherwise it sticks to the surface due to sweat. And also not to damage the guitar (it has french polish instead of lacquer) with sweat.
A great pity about the camera editing a very poor showing of your formidable technique, of what we could see of it . it never the less is a very fine piece of work on your part , outstanding and brilliant . shoot the cameraman and editor they'll never have the same talent you have in your little finger.
oh well can't have everything i guess, a musician first . as a historical document of your formidable ability. you let yourself down big time when it came to the editing . just too many cut aways from your hands and technique. please don't take this the wrong way as i meant no criticism to you as a musician PS the cameraman and editor part needs a bit more college/film school ; )
Hi Uros ... I study this piece and hope to someday play it as well as you do. Both the player and guitar are very nice. Do you mind telling me who the is the luthier of the guitar which you play, and what do you use for recording equipment? Microphone, software, etc. ?

I'm speechless as to how good this is ! Clear, crisp, emotional and tugs at the heart strings ! Beautiful, sensitive playing. You nailed it !!

Done well. You played this well compared to the other videos on TH-cam. Good tempo and skill.
Where could we enjoy your Recuerdos de la Alhambra rendition?
I’ve never played it…
@@UrosGuitar Thank you for answering. Any possibility to convince you for playing it at least once? I’m sure you could do better than any other…
Muito claro! Lindo, perfeito!

Incredible quality of sound! What's that guitar?
Bernd Holzgruber, solid spruce top and Brazilian rosewood back and sides… don’t own it anymore.
Awesome :D
👏👏👏👏👏
!!! it s "simple": beauty!! thanks...!!!

superb
Pode parecer exagero, mas, eu acho melhor que o original. Muito sentimento e movimento. Bravo.

It's made by Bernd Holzgruber. He is an Austrian maker I believe...
What about the player?
just kidding xD
Daddario carbon?
+Alex Xeneizee No, D'Addario nylon.
strings?
+Alex Xeneizee D'Addario Pro Arte HT
Good version, although I prefer listening to it on 1.25x speed :) !
