    I bought my Z330M at Lowe's yesterday, they were clearancing the last few they had left. Didn't research much but unlike days in the past these appear to be the same mowers sold at JD Dealers. I am missing the compartment door, led lights, arm rests, and the mat on the floor deck you showed on your review video. Do all these items come with the unit at the dealer they are just removed from the Lowe's version to keep costs down? Ive owned a couple JD and bought at local dealers, so dont beat me up too much. :)

      I bought a Z320M recently and the only “option” it came with was the hitch. I bought the compartment door (really Deere?), step, foot mat, arm rest and foot pegs online. Arm rest and foot pad has been the biggest noticeable improvement! The pegs and step are nice, but I could have waited. Next, the mulch kit!

    • @pappascw
      @pappascw 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@fenwaythegreat1782 I bought the floor mat and arm rests. Guess I’ll grab the foot pegs next then eventually the mulch kit. My only gripe is tuning the controls to drive straight. I’ve adjusted the bolts but seems a tad off.

    I just recently purchased a Z315e with the bagger kit BUC 11342. I didn't realize at first that it didn't come with the blower. Have you compared this kit to the one that has the blower attachment?? I mowed the other day and it seems like it just picked up leaves and could do my entire yard (39000 sqft.) and maybe dump the bags once or twice. I have borrowed a neighbors Z320e with the blower and it appears to work much better than without the blower. Please advise

    • @WesternEquipment
      @WesternEquipment  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Blowers are only and option on 48" and 54" decks typically. I have never seen one on a 42" deck but I would assume it would do better since it is creating more air flow than just what the deck is making.

    • @FishFind3000
      @FishFind3000 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@mellowjammer you are getting a better everything else that comes along with that step. Engine, Hydros, Seat, Deck, etc... I know it doesn't matter to most people but for me when I looked at what was provided on the z300 and z500 I didn't see any value. You got what you paid for and that wasn't much. I looked at the 740r for the better engine since my last mower was a d120 with a junk briggs that liked to blow head gaskets. When I went to the dealer they showed me a z920m for 1K more then the z740r and It was a no brainier to spend the little extra and get a lot more of a machine. To each there own, value is a subjective thing and for one person it can mean just the price tag and another it could be features or options.

  • @mellowjammer

    Brett, I am slightly confused here. Are the part numbers given for this non power-flow bagger just for the 42" deck? Because I thought the one I needed for my Z330R 48A deck was a Power Flow model BUC11344? Also the mulch control kit number HAS to be different for the 42A, 48A, & 54A decks, so the info seems a bit misleading to say that these are the part numbers for these accessories for Z300 series mowers....or am I missing something here? You never said that these were p/n's just for 42" deck models.
