Yeah that’ll be interesting doing a group BDR, I do enjoy your solo trips but changing it up is good! I was wondering when that TUK movie would be out, I think they set off just after GL last year. Also really appreciate you’re not pushing product all the time, I’m numb to it at this point.

Got my first good ride in last weekend also! Quick question. Since you are from Colorado. Is the first week in June a good time to roll the million dollar hwy up thru grand Mesa? Planning a run thru southern Utah and back up 550.
A bit over 52k. The T7 is solidly in the middleweight category, nothing wrong with lighter bikes, you just tend to give up some comfort on longer trips.
@@MeerkatADV That's a lot of riding in the short time you've had your T7. I live in a climate that isn't conducive to winter riding, which is the case in Colorado where you live too. I'm northeast WA, about 1.5 hours west of the Wallace, ID (on the IDBDR). I keep debating if I should sell the T7 or keep it, and sell my KTM instead. I also have a DRZ400. It's my go-to bike for fire roads over the KTM due to the longer range and more plush ride.
@@MeerkatADV In the past I've commented on some of your videos under my other channel name - Delta Bravo. I started this new channel right after Christmas for all my moto content. One of these days maybe our paths will cross. I've kicked around the idea of the Giant Loop rally, but I don't know yet. It seems like the weather goes south during the event. I get sucked in to pre-riding the route and verifying the roll chart and GPS tracks, and route clearing for a big dual sport even near Plain, WA in June, which makes it tough to commit to anything else in June.

i loaded into G A I a gps... seems pretty legit he says he refined it using gaia...he also has 5 weeks of summary on his site for his run that i have not yet read thru okay thanks for the share ! be safe riding in the cold Wx great content A+
Can't speak for anyone else but would have preferred the music down a bit in the mix, felt hard to make out what you were saying at points. Still, thanks for the video - hopefully you don't mind some (intended) constructive criticism.

I went to the T7 from a 690. I wouldn't want to do the riding/traveling that I do on anything else.

You should be OK on the pavement. Just watch the weather. Historically April and May are the heaviest precipitation months for colorado.

planning my TAT run ... mentions on rdt posts ... drug activity thru TN and OR ... i hit some sketchy riff-raff on thru MA bdr last AUG
