So from what I've researched on Mindat, Scapolite is a general term for the Marialite-Meionite Series. Marialite is a Sodium Aluminum Silicate Chloride and has a hardness of 5.5 to 6. Meionite on the other hand is a Calcium Aluminum Silicate Carbonate and has a hardness of 5 to 6. They both belong in the Tetragonal Crystal System. From what I'm researching, the yellow Scapolite crystal you have could most likely be from the Marble Occurrence in the Uluguru Mountains in the Morogoro Region of Tanzania. As for the lavender Scapolite in a Marble matrix, it might've came from the Pereval Marble Quarry in Slyudyanka in the Lake Baikal area of the Irkutskaya Oblast'. It is in Prebaikalia which is in the Eastern-Siberian Region of Russia. The green crystals might be Tremolite.
when I was on the canaries islands 7 years ago, I found a big lump of rock, about 1cm^3. And I was wondering if you could identify what it is. It’s a volcanic rock fully covered with small (~3mm) lime fruit meat green gems, the lump easily brakes but the gems stays intact. According to wiki it’s possible it’s Peridot, but I’m skeptic if it’s such rare type of gem. Can you confirm it’s peridot or if it’s something else And if it’s said gem, that means I have a bunch of peridots attached to a *CLOD*
I also think it's probably olivine. There's a green sand beach in Hawaii, along with three others in the world, where there are olivine crystals trapped in the lava rock due to a volcanic eruption possibly happening at the same time as a tsunami (since olivine is heavier than magma, and it wouldn't normally be deposited in the same stone). However, there is not a green sand beach in the Galapagos to produce that. Perhaps if you sent a link to a photo of the stone, we could identify it.
I have one. I recently got a 35 ct scapolite gift from a friend. Made it into a ring the very next day. It's definitely a show stopping peace and a heavy one. I wear it everywhere and all the time.
I recently bought a piece from a crystal shop that was labeled scapolite but it doesn't really look like any images I find of scapolite. It's tumbled, seems colorless but has what almost looks like an insect wing inside. All the specimens at the time I bought it had this in them so I thought it was an aspect of the stone.
Peru, for two reasons. I want to experience the ayahuasca ceremony and go to to a mine. I love all the chrysocolla samples. I don't have any. It's on my list.
I have 3 pcs of golden yellow scapolite each weighing 18cts .super gem quality one I made into a pendant. The other I’m saving make a cuff bracelet,,,,
Hey Natalie! Just saw the ad you made on another channel about some of the steven universe gems. I had forgotten I was watching an ad XD! P.S. I believe you still owe MatPat some flapjacks.
These videos don't get the views they deserve. I love this channel so much
We completely agree!! Thanks for watching along!
Seriously! It’s the only channel about gems that is educational and entertaining haha
At least as far as I’ve seen.

Shining Star i
i think it may be olivine, the non-gem version of peridot . also found on lanzarote
It could be olivine, which isn't that rare.

man this channel is REALLY making me want to dip my toes into gemology, I just wouldn't even know where to begin
Is it the camera? You're not wearing purple. You're wearing a pale blue, borderline white.
I love how the music was at the end with the pictures. Very fun. Do moldavite next!
I have a pale
Yellow scapolite ring that I got at jtv years ago.
I think I might be colorblind but your shirt is not purple XD It like a gray-blue color
At best, it's the lightest possible lavender. It is NOT purple.

Some scapolite also glows under UV light and it's stunning.
You guys need to do a video about the gemstones and crystals from the Final Fantasy franchise
I actually have a scapolite that i got from yall. Been having it for several years now
I have 3 pcs of golden yellow scapolite each weighing 18cts .super gem quality one I made into a pendant. The other I’m saving make a cuff bracelet,,,,
Looks like the Scapolite in matrixes coming out of Afghanistan/northern Pakistan. Green Diopside. White feldspar.
Could it be a hiddenite in the host rock with the purple scapolite??
No, I checked on mineral association photos on the website, Mindat and Hiddenite or any variety of Spodumene is not associated with Scapolite.
YES I HAVE 3 PCS OF LARGE SCAPOLITE FACETED WITH GOLDEN YELLOW COLOR.
also called marialite or stoksteen
i'd love to know all the different colors of scapolite
I own purple, yellow and a somewhat clear scapolite.
Love your show. Nice rough.
Thank you!

The same colour as your fine complexion. Very complimentary coloured gems to wear.💎
On my screen, you are wearing a grey blouse. The crystals were grey as well.
Do Vanadinite!
2:45 nice reference. Thumbs up!
Maybe the green is emerald or jade
Always trying that ring finger. I think she wants somebody to put a ring on it.
