You probably dont care but does anyone know a way to log back into an instagram account? I stupidly lost the password. I appreciate any tricks you can give me!
@Jesus Kenneth Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
The Smithsonian Natural History Museum actually has a pyrite specimen that looks very similar to the one in this video only it has six cubes in the structure (I think). It is one of the coolest things I have ever seen. Great video, Natalie and team, I love learning about gemstones and minerals. Also, though I LOVE Elizabeth, it would be fun to see Renata on the channel again, as well as some of your other previous guests.
Natalie and Elizabeth are such great video partners! I am LIVING for these! Keep up the great work and do a video for every crystal system!! The food thing totally makes since by the way Natalie. I'm on your level. Elizabeth's visualization with the chocolate bar worked great!
The two pyrite crystals are intergrown but not twinned, since twins follow a twin law (the crystal boundaries are on a specific non-random crystallographic plane). Further, technically cubic minerals cannot have terminations, so the crystals would be referred to as undamaged or complete.
I had three pyrite pieces. Gave one to my bestie. They were small cubes in some parts and rough looking in others. I really really want a cubic pyrite like the first specimen. No matrix just pure cube-ness!
I was thinking about doing an unboxing show for different spices and salts, I think it could be really cool if one day we could do a collaboration together! Trying to figure out how to go about doing it as well.
Well, Natalie is pursuing other interests and Elizabeth has been busy (you'll see why in a future episode), but we have plans to revamp the series in the near future. Stay tuned!
Ship it SO HARD, I love those two together. I wonder if they hang out after work.
You really need to make a video for every crystal system. this channel is amazing, keep up the great work :D
Thanks for watching, and for the great suggestion!

Very informative episode. Does the host get to keep any of the jewelry, gems or mineral examples unboxed on the show?

Rutile? Talks about coral? Different types?
Noticing a bad trend. Camera person is not zooming in on things often enough, or sometimes not at all.

Shouldn't the guests have been a mineralogist, as mineralogy is the study of (naturally occurring) crystalline structures?
