If you question how accurate this video is, you’re a philosopher

I consider myself a philosopher ❤️ i will never stop looking for answers

I feel like I am a philosopher but I don't meet all the criteria like not fitting in. My social anxiety and awkwardness has decreased the older I get and I've become more social and fit in pretty well. I don't feel any less philosophical though. It allows me to meet more people of different backgrounds and learn more but also include different perspectives!

I love how philosophers of the past were old drunk homeless people and today we expect them to have 5 PHD's and respectable

I feel like I know more than my friends and students at school, they know so little I just can't explain it. They accept everything they see for what it is with not a care about what it all means. I can never share my ideas with them because they won't understand and think I am weird. And yeah people think I'm not confident but really I look at people and think to my mind there is so much you do not know

People are mainly just scared..and part of me cannot blame them tbh.. People are mainly scared because the truth is not something that can ever be in their control. There is also no solid answer to what the ultimate truth is... there is still a lot that is unknown. The brain will always be digging for more answers...many cannot handle that..😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 for that, they have fallen for the oldest cliche in the book "ignorance is bliss"... Certainly not bliss in my experience...🤦🤦🙄🙄🙄 I tried.. I truly did... but I couldn't pull it off.. there was no truly escaping that "splinter in my mind" (as Morpheus put it) that I was living a lie. One that always kept me up at night, even when they tried to put me on strong knock out pills. Nothing could snuff it out.. I feel like some of us are just, for lack of a better term, 'chosen'.. born (at the very least) part way out of the matrix. I've accepted the fact that I'm crazy, a weirdo, an outcast, an enigma (a label my first grade teacher gave me that I was proud to take back😂😂) the list goes on.. IMHO in 2022 not fitting in is something to be proud of!!!😄😄💜💜💜👏👏 Idk about you but the normies are starting to really freak me out these days!!!😳😳😬😬

Enjoyable content for sure. I don't tend to watch these types of videos. And it's a bit of a strange feeling when I watch a video and I check all the boxes 😳.

I never really saw, thought, or called myself a philosopher back then, but now, looking back at all the things I've said and done, I guess I am a philosopher in a way.
Had someone call me a philosopher the other day. Never thought about it until now, yeah, I guess I am. I guess I was one without realizing I was one.

  • @liamdacre1818

A philosopher is a seeker of the truth and they will never be satisfied and they will always question everything. Socrates himself said that we should question absolutely everything and not rest until our beliefs have a firm foundation with no doubts

I'm simply a person that thinks about things and sometimes makes original statements on them. Whether or not someone calls me a philosopher has no bearing on my propensity to do this.
This is why I try to not use words like "free will" or "determinism". Instead, I just explain: "you weren't responsible for aligning the stars that led to your successes and happiness. You don't think a thought before it occurs, and you don't decide to forget your keys or someone's name, and you don't choose when you'll remember that person's name, etc." There's no need to invoke words that mean different things to different people. If I say "I'm a philosopher" then someone might require documentation, but if I simply make my argument or case without declaring myself a philosopher (which will cause a bias - some will see me as an authority and not question me, while others will dismiss me for it, and whatever other biases one might harbor), then it is up to me to make a convincing case - a case that is so convincing that no matter who speaks it, it will retain it's ability to convince.

I thank my Grandad for introducing me to science and making me want to think. I thank my autism for making me ask questions because what I would think, and what the majority of others seemed to think, were so regularly so very different.
Philosophers are not born, they are formed.

Except abrahamic religions most other indigenous "religions"(for lack of a better word) could and actively did incorporate gods of other pantheons they never considered their gods to be THE supreme instead all gods were considered manifestations or aspects of what they considered supreme.

After watching this video, therefore I am (a philosopher). But i was smiling, i mean i laughing myself, not this video, since i felt like I am similar to "the good philoshopers" and then instantly i canceled that thought or debating my own thought, because obviously I'm not! And then I was considering, I feel like : don't we all like that?

5 signs you are a philosopher: you have 5 papers published in the better ranked scientific journals on Scopus/Scimago. It can be just one (that is hard enough), but you asked for five.

We are right if we believe in one powerful God and not a God that was born and breastfed as a young kid

    • @ChristAliveForevermore
      @ChristAliveForevermore 2 ปีที่แล้ว

What about when that young child grows up to become the wisest among men? When that wise man has done no wrong in his life? When that goodly wise man willingly lays down his life in the hands of a corrupt judicial system? What does these qualities say about that man except that the ineffable God we believe in became as a man? That this goodly wise man claimed to be "The Way, the Truth, and the (eternal) Life" would only validate this claim, would it not? And if the Prophets of the ineffable God had all claimed a man of this calibre would someday come and do great works that no man could possibly accomplish, and this goodly wise man did accomplish these works, what does that say about who it is the Prophets were speaking of? That this goodly wise man would be known in his day as Immanuel, God who tabernacles amongst us, what does this say about this goodly wise man of many miracles?
Simply by asking questions about this subject, with the stated facts at hand, it becomes rather obvious (at least to me) that the ineffable, infinite, all-good and all-wise God whom we worship must have, in some inconcievable way (as is His nature) become a man so that we might follow Him as He has always desired and enter into eternal life with Him, as he claimed while with us on this Earth.
That I should not be able to conceive of such a God becoming man simply reaffirms my faith that this man truly was and is God.
      What say you?

I know nothing is not accurate in different point of view , if i there r 10 rules and there are no more then 10 and can t be more then 10 .
In that situation if learn 5 rules i know half of it . But if there are infinite ideas , thoughts , facts and truths my 5 rules that i learned are nothing . so i know nothing .
