What are the prices? I guess if I need to ask or check out the prices before I make reservations, I can't afford to dine there. You have to make reservations and there are no prices listed on the website.
My parents brought my brothers and I to Al's a couple of times when I was in my 20's (about 30 years ago). To this day, if you ask me about the best-tasting meal I've ever eaten in my life, I'll respond: "Veal Oscar at Al's." And, yes, I ordered it both times.
Enjoyed watching this, since my father and Al were good friends through their mutual good friend Rolf Wisness. But what happened to Harold? Harold was Al's right hand man and head waiter. After Al's death, he essentially ran the place, I guess until Al's daughter moved back and took over. Harold was a staple there, and it pains me to see no mention of him in this video
Hey man , no one said that the driver is black ..I think your a bit sensitive..Frank was known to pay his employees handsomely . And tip $100 for services
My dearest friend & I went to Al’s to celebrate her engagement summer of 2004. Fond, priceless memories & the best food.
Thanks for sharing such a sweet memory!
We were there last night and I absolutely loved the place and the food, and stories about the history of this place that Mr. Neal shared with us.
It is on my bucket list. My wife and I have to get down there!

A place you have to try!
a dog getting a steak can you imagine that
Pretty soon all the customers will be dead. They need an update.
So the dog gets a steak but his black driver didn’t? Great story about a racist owner and singer
There is more to the story, check it out.
