In my tests Photo AI is the best overall. I have not tested Luminar Neo for a little while except the newest extensions.

Thanks for your information about your experience! I have all Topaz products as of last year and mainly use them to salvage smartphone or old, scanned photos. Usually I prefer the more versatile Photo AI, but I had a few cases where Gigapixel offered me more control. However, I chose to not upgrade it and stick to Photo AI. Which I consider a must-have.

I agree that if one has Photo AI, then Gigapixel AI is not needed.

I use AI for upscaling photos from an old 2MP compact. It is good and I don't feel the need for Gigapixel.

They might add to Photo AI. Gigapixel is a more targeted to upscaling and Photo AI does a bit more.

Not a fan of the new interface.
Previewing can't be turned off from automatic. Bogs down with multiple files.
No progress information on files done/left (no, a scroll bar isn't enough).
The entire second processing window is a royal PIA. WHY is it there?
Can't see how long each file took to process. (No. Having to examine a friggin log file is NOT a way)

Very rarely I do the upscaling of the crop from the original photo, since crop is smaller than I need. Since I do not need this too frequently I use the upscaling from the Adobe Photoshop.

Photoshops upscaling is something I have not used that much. I need to compare it to Gigapixel AI and Photo AI.

Forgive me, but what's the point of making a comparison video on two softwares when you didn't bother to sid down and get really familiar with both of them? The comision from the affiliate links? The modes (crucial for effective work here) or the added features of Gigapixel v7 compared to Photo AI were not once mentioned. Lastly, I agree that those added features of v7 could be added to Photo AI so that its owners (paying double the price) can enjoy them too, but Gigapixel can be welcomed by many people who already own some pricey software that covers all the editing and enhancing features of Photo AI.

I have been using Gigapixel for many years. I do have some knowledge about it. Photo AI I use almost everyday. Maybe I was not clear enough on this.
