Had to grind down the nuts and screws a bit. It kept scraping against the body when I tried to close the tail gate. Not only did it scratch the paint but it made it so it couldn’t open and close smoothly. After grinding them down it worked pretty good/ properly. Just not as good as you would think it would. It opens softer and slower for sure just don’t think its going to work as good as the ones found on newer trucks.

If you could could you measure both badge from the edge of the tailgate and from the bottom I have been looking everywhere nobody has an answer
cool device but seems to lower too quick, a tad slower would be optimal, imo
