Why Lil Durk Can't "Slide4Von"

- The phrase "slide4von" has become synonymous with Lil Durk since the passing of his late friend and OTF signee, King Von. After he sadly lost his life in November of 2020, Lil Durk has been ridiculed for not standing by the lyrics in his songs, where he often refers to turning anyone on the opposition into a "pack." There are numerous songs from Lil Durk where he openly disses men who are no deceased, as if he played some part in getting the job done. With his star power at an all time high, Durk is put into an interesting position. Should he target those who took King Von's life and jeopardize his career for revenge? Or, should he turn the leaf, and leave that life behind him while he focuses on his career? Whatever it is, it seems like Durk will always have this cloud shadow above him, and it's going to be difficult to silence the critics. However, as we'll discuss in this video, it may be probable that Durk has ALREADY slid for Von... just not in a way that you may expect.

Von was a good artist, but like my brother, he was a bad person. My brother is serving life... Durk simply has too much to lose and its clearly not worth doing anything dumb. Durk should let the past be the past and move on and away from that side of his life. Music is the way out and hes made way more than just a way out of his music career helping his family for generations to come.

Von was not signed with OTF officially. Von had a distribution deal with empire records and was appart of Lil Durk OTF mixtapes released with empire. Durk was not even with empire at the time he was releasing music with Alamo records owned by sony music for his own music
